They just have a completely different level of immersion in the pro SC scene compared to foreigners. Like do you never watch BW at all? Then I can kind of understand where you're coming from. I dont think discussing with them changes their mind. You see, those guys are like the women with football. Only time when their intrested in football is, when theres a World Cup going on. And as soon as the "home team" is out, so is their interest for the sport.

I mean I have my favorites too, but I can always enjoy a good game, no matter who plays. I can enjoy a good game too, but I always enjoy my favourites winning. I think you meant "sympathise," by the way. Emphasising is like this.

I'm in Sweden, watching Assembly this weekend instead of MLG. If MLG had a free stream however, I'd probably skip Assembly and stay up all night watching MLG instead. Most people can't or choose to not watch both in succession, that'd be like 20 hours or more of non-stop Starcraft. o_O

Every football fan ever will prefer to cheer for their "home team" before the "skilled team", and all of them are perfectly capable of watching a game where they have no emotional connection to any of the teams (and they do). That doesn't make it any less dull. The problem is that in a Ro4 with only Koreans, there is often really no difference (to us) between the players. It's this guy vs that guy, and there's no basis on which to form our opinion.
