I can't deal with this after the TvP / PvT in the GSL thread earlier in the day but in short... Donating en masse units with 100 gas to the opponent loses you games. Losing eight 50 mineral units in a 100 gas unit isn't game changing. Having all your tanks (gas units) unsieged will lose you the game as Terran. | ||

He had a few here and there, but they got picked off by banshees and helions and overall just couldnt really mine. This was also reflected in his supply, he was never ahead in supply whole game long. | ||

But not having 2 or 3 tanks protected and them getting picked off by mutalisks is the zerg skill? Really why are all Zergs whining all the time, I don't get it lol | ||

Huh, that's a really silly thing to say... I mean if the Z is super far ahead then he indeed can also suicide a ton of stuff and it doesn't even matter. It's got nothing to do with the races, it's got to do with being ahead. | ||

Losing all tanks means you lost your support unit, but the backbone of the army still stands, and thats the marine. Even if terran loses all marines and tanks, its not easy to kill a terran off in his simcity base, except if you have an overwhelming number of mutalisks. As long as terran kept up in economy, a lost marine tank army is just that, a lost army. If terran is pushing you and you lose all your mutas with a missclick its over, he can finish zerg off easily. | ||

And with that half your army. All your map control. All your harass potential. And basically the game because you can't stall anymore (until/unless you got a serious Infestor count). Losing tank isn't fun either, but they do not tend to fly over a Thor or a ball of Marines out of "accident" .It's clearly the Zergs fault when it happens, but it's just a horrible feeling ^^ | ||
