You're right, drg seems to make more macro hatches than any other zerg. I don't think there were extra queens with them, they were just there to make sure queens never had excess energy.

Mixed martial arts. Not the player :p

I really like his mass macro hatch as it gets harder and harder to keep up on injects as you go into late game

Any build that takes zero micro to win should not exist. That's terrible game design. Also ad hominem attacks don't make you witty. The build worked because july handled it terrible. Not sending in a huge wave of zerglings to finish off 15 marines? Instead he rallied his zerglings in a congo line to die. He made 0 banelings except for 3 which blew up on like 1 marine. Should game design take into account of people playing terrible It's possible you're right but what other strategy in the game by zerg or protoss can make a player roll over and die with a one-unit army composition and no micro? don't you remember Stephano wrecking face with his mass zergling build? Stephano's mass zergling infestor build you mean. That also was effective because his micro is sick. He would win with just mass zerglings. And it wasn't due to micro. Polt won because July made Muta's and not banelings. Simple as that. He would have won if he wouldnt have send in his zerglings 10 at a time into 13 marines Well no shit sherlock. 13 marines cost way more than 10 lings. If Polt ran in 13 marines to 10 banelings, he wouldn't have won. Yes but the whole problem with julys attacks wasent his awefull unit comp, it was his idea of constantly sending in a small army the whole time to get easily picked off which lost him the game Except that Polt had a constant stream of marines rallied across the map and zerglings trade better against them in smaller numbers??? Let me personally clear up that I don't think July lost because of imbalance. I think the game was terrible to watch because of imbalance and it could have been much more interesting if marines weren't such a retarded unit. Or if July played correctly... Marines being imba had nothing to do with that game being terrible.

Archons Archons cost 300 gas apiece and are late game tech. You really can't compare the two. All you asked was 1 unit that without micro that can make another player die.

I wasn't paying too much attention, but was DRG running his lings into the wall in order to stop Oz from canceling the second Gate and replacing it with the Core? Would explain why he ignored the Probe.

What happened to the stream?

Thar she blows!
Nice timing on the quick 3rd by Oz. He seems to know how DRG likes to play ZvP.

Yeah but just wondering (honestly, since I play neither P or Z), how does Z stop that. After going hatch gasless and Oz donating away those zlots (and the chrono on them) you'd think DRG would be a little ahead but Oz then just took a 3rd off of 5 sentries and walled off with a cannon.

Hahahaha, gotta love when casters just momentary lose focus.
Wolf: "Warping in a bunch of units going for the fourth!" Unstable: "Mmhmm" ... Unstable: "Couple of units at the fourth!!"

game went downhill when drg tried that dual pronged attack and failed to snipe nexus

You drop lings in his main base while you hit the third.
obviously!

This is a really well produced tournament, if it had a couple more foreigners and wasn't at 4 AM eastern I think you'd get a lot more notice.

Lol Oboe you would say that. Is that seriously viable at that time? o.O Stop dodging me and play more 2s w/ me btw ._.
btw: always wondered, can you do game winning damage with 10pool speedlings vs nexus first?

If you upgrade drops pretty shortly after lair, instead of going double roach warren, then yes it is very viable. at least... it works for me.

Yeah you would kill nexus first, but normal protoss (not Oz) will pylon scout, see your pool, and go forge first.
