It's actually hard to stop all those drops at once. Jyp needs to warp in from at least 6 gates to defend a single drop. He doesn't have 30 gates ... do the math Artosis. Yes he was. His decisions on how to split and move his army were absolutely dire the moment more then 1 place was dropped. He can't split the main army. Colossus/zealots are really slow and 4th base to main base are quite far on this map. If he splits them and sC makes an attack with his main army, what then? I lol at how everyone on this forum thinks it's easy to defend those drops. Wtf are you talking about. Is that a joke? If Terran is splitting his army, clearly his army isn't strong enough to fight the Protoss army headon. In fact, without drops, the Terran army gets shit on by the Toss army in a straight up engagement. Are you now insinuating that Terran can take on Toss when the Terran drops? That's amusing, to say the least. I lol at people that think JYP handled those drops even remotely decently. I handle drops better. He can attack the protoss with his main army if the protoss splits his colossus/stalkers to defend drops (as many suggested). Terran can just scan ahead and see if he can attack. Even if he makes a bad decision he can stim and run back.
No, he can't. Why in the world do you think this? This is never the case in any of the games, do you even play SC2? If you drop --> your army size is smaller --> you can't engage the enemy headon. If Terran splits his army and Toss splits his army to deal with it, why do you suddenly think the Terran army can beat the Toss army? That's ridiculous.

And since he made a lot of planetaries, his orbital count was lower than it could've been.

The use of nukes really changed up the split map dynamic. I'm super eager to try to incoroporate that into my late game TvP.

Even when TvP is good, it's terrible.

It was an okay game. Genius played textbook PvT and sC tried all kinds of stuff and then lost.

Oh god if sC doesnt win JYP is out! ;(

nice game, reminded me of a popular map in bw where no one could attack the other until every base was taken and you could try to cross the middle.

lmao all circles are squares

I think all the best TvP's are on that map. Blown away by how good these guys are.

Don't think zerg and terrans should try to go late game vs Protoss... They can still win but I think protoss just have a better late game army

I'm just kidding based off how in the past TvPs we complained saying that it was a 200/200 one time engagement matchup. but it was one battle wasn't it. only the nukes made it exciting ? what game did you watch? Think I saw a dozen battles in there. but it was obvious who would win after that one big battle
