Son, you're quoted for truth. Also Ultras are baaaaaaahaaaaaad. And this was a shitty cheesy game :D

He's basically the perfect ZvT player now. Fyi, stephano and destiny aint known for having good z v t but good z v p and z v z, if u wanna be the perfect z v t player u shud follow ppl like drg or even idra...

Nova's drop killed his pool at the perfect time. With the units Nova had all over the map and the production & cost efficiency of bio against ultras without infestors, I really think Leenock was boned regardless.

Damn we still have mc vs forgg then another series after that, time to make that coffee and maybe sneak in a cold shower U_U

There's nowhere else much better on that map, esp because he wasn't gonna mutas. Either side base can be dropped to hell and without a lot of economy you can't just put up enough lings/spines/spore (some combination of them) at the base to stop a drop. The ultra attack looked sick but really it just became an army trade with Supernova losing a base (but already had bases around to float so was barely anything and Leenock having no econ behind the attack (he started a 4th but idk what happened to it (at the 12clock position) and then started the gold as Supernova was morphing a PF. But Leenock had no money to techswitch out of ultra so it was pretty bad for him.

The ultras were actually a good choice but supernova made a ton of tanks, I can't understand why he never transitioned to brood lords, that tech switch is like the entire strenght of the strong zvt lategame.

ultras are not bad... marauders are just .. well lets say "good" .

supernova is most likely going to get crushed in g3, nearly losing a game when u were so far ahead doesnt feel very good tt, im sure leenock gained more confidence from that game than supernova did

Come one. He was never back in the game.

Apparently crushing a terran army once while he builds more Marauders and you're on an excess of Ultras means you're back in the game or something idk

It got him back into the game because of a Terran mistake moving way out of position.
I definitely would have preferred muta based play as it can force the mistake as opposed to just hoping for one.

Leenock was never really that far ahead. Supernova had four bases and a fortified positions. His ultra push evened the game up but it didn't push him way ahead.

Yea he could've transfused all the low ultras, he had like 12~ transfuses.

After that he ofcourse engaged in a choke vs tanks and planetaries, lost his spawning pool as he engaged causing him to not have lings, loosing 2 full energy queens and loosing 3-4 infestors going for a fungal.
No he definately not lost because of those ultra's he lost because of the terrible start. He was behind in eco all game, supernova could have finished that game way earlier. In fact leenock almost came back because of 1 great engagement with the ultra's and infestors, he just overextended afterwards.

Actually the other guys are right, Leenock was behind and used heavy upgraded ultras to gain a good momentum. Then a-moved his ultra heavy army into terran and lost
Not the best game to show how ultras are the sc2 version of bw guardians. But still true.

Did Leenock see the barracks?
