They beat them by chipping around the edges and not LETTING Zerg get that composition going, with a big bank and spines at every base. It's map dependent as well, on Meta there is pretty much nowhere that is suitable for a good engagement against that comp. | ||

JYP has 100% map control (but map is almost mined out), Dimaga has ONE base left with 40 spine crawlers and a maxed out Zerg deathball army of Corruptor/Infestor/Brood Lord. JYP had all the time in the world to change his composition in order to try to break the base, he still couldn't do it,,, Dimaga won the game | ||

Yeah so does getting up a broodlord infestor corruptor army. The way stephano played(super passive) just invited carrier tech switch. I've seen plenty of tosses beat infestor broodlords with carrier/mothership based armies. MC, Hongun, Huk, they all eventually tech switch to carriers. Not really true. Yes, it takes a long time to tech up to, but once you have the tech, you can have a full army in a minute, simply because of how Zerg production works. Protoss however can only build one Carrier at a time per Stargate, and each takes 120 seconds, even if you build like 4 Stargates, it would take like 5 minutes with chrono boost to get a dozen of them... and then they just die anyway because Carriers are godawful :/ | ||
