Imagine if buildings could crush units.. Flying a barracks into opponents mineral line and landing it on the workers!

What is better then seeing the clide burns, seeing the clide burns in a SlayerS jacket. Glad he is still in it as well, cant have the best player in the world going to code A xp.

More like JYP opened a big hole in the wall and invited Clide in on multiple occasions.
This metaphor is disgusting.

Also vikings counter collo and bio+ghost counter everything else hardcore.

Mineral line would block the barracks from landing

Yes but that's to be expected when you reveal colossi. The engagement was poor on JYP's end.

Mirror builds so far by both players, this is looking like a macro game.

Well that sort of happened, didn't Boxer do a pimpest play by crushing drones with his barracks back in BW?

Yep, and I meant Cliiiiiide had better units overall. Unit composition, that is.

I think Wolf's criticism of JYP in this situation is completely off base. JYP knew that drops were a possibility, but he has to guard against so many different things; attacks at the nat, drops in the main, and drops in the backdoor. Every protoss will split his army exactly how JYP did, and honestly, JYP responded fairly quickly to Clide's drops both times, blinking under on both occasions. The main issue was that JYP had zealots and sentries at his natural to defend against possible second harass from terran (that kind of two pronged harass happens all the time) and so as soon as Clide got his units out, JYP couldn't fight them without his zealots and sentries.
I think smart move by Clide to recognize a thinly stretched protoss army and then go into it with his entire army at one point, sort of a Nelson at Trafalgar strat, but I think Wolf (and this thread) are completely wrong to criticize JYP's defense. It's really really hard to defend as a protoss against what Clide did. What JYP should've done was had templar much sooner. That was the mistake that lost him the game, not his drop defense.
