MMA and DRG are just on a different level. Momentum just swings either way but MMA is just showing some very very good decision making and plays. nah, MMA won cause DRG miscontrolled that. Jjakji vs leenock was epic cause neither player fucked up enough to lose, the winner played well to win instead.

Just because it was risky dosent make it a bad move. He gambled that DRG would be not looking at his mutas for a split second, maybe larvae injecting or following the front of the army looking for siege blasts, and it worked out really well. You have to take big risks to win big!

so hard to snipe the medivacs when you don't know what's inside and there are marines and thors on the front lines to take care of

I thought it was more entertaining. I think the only thing this match has over that one is the story behind it.

DRG didn't snipe medivacs because of possible thor volleys. It was a brilliant move by MMA, because tanks were no good in that fight anymore because of broodlords.

yes but DRG doesnt know that

It was a missclick, he wanted to load the tanks and bring them elsewhere to save them, not flank and fly 2 medivacs into 20 mutas...it looked cool because DRG derped and forgot to micro and was on move command. In fact he was on move command for the rest of the battle, terrible ><
Perhaps the tank-drop confused him.
I do agree that it was probably a miss-click from MMA. It certainly looked that way when he flew 2 dropships towards 20 muta

Usually you try to magic box mutas vs thors, if you just a-move they stack and get one-shotted. MMA probably anticipated that/took the risk since tanks are pretty much useless unsieged vs brood lords.

You clearly didn't watch that battle closely. The fully loaded medivacs ran into DRG's army and the medivac was basically "magic boxed". Mutas don't clump up when their target is within them.

There were 10 mutas doing nothing....it was very very risky and i dont know why drg didnt target that down.... cuz his main target was the marines...if hes cleans them up then MMA is kinda fucked but he controlled that engagement perfectly and killed everything w/o losing rines Have you tried fighting 3-3 marines with 1-0 mutas? The mutas are there ONLY to snipe siege tanks and medivacs

nope, actually wrong, mutas target tanks first while banes chase and lings try to hinder marine movement.

Leenock vs Jjakji was better.
The series itself was class above anything I've ever seen SC2 yet

A-Move won't target medivacs first, DRG would have to manually target them if there are other battle units near by. DRG was too busy managing the front of his army. Thats it right there. MMA was not going to win that engagement in a straight on fight either. He got creative.
