Seems kind of stupid. you are completly wrong, for one they are talking about DOTA which is NOT League of Legends. Dota is the original game from which both hon and lol got the idea, and both have ported heroes from DOTA not each other. BTW, Antimage is not a directly ported as Magebane, the second pack of heroes have modifications too, some of them at least LoL is like dota for dummies (no offence but they removed one of the few individual skill-dependant moves from the game), Hon is like dota for hmm, idk, something like dota which has reconnection and is different a bit | ||

pro players in HoN will often have around 150-200apm for controlling just their one unit for example. it is partly because everything that spawns in the game especially your own hero, provides gold once killed (you can choose to 'deny' the gaining of that gold by heroes of another team by attacking and killing your allied units/teammates) HoN or DotA is especially unforgiving when you are a new player, even if you are just playing against other new players. the amount of knowledge and general control you need will catch up to you by the beginning minutes of the game. i have played all of these games for a reasonable amount of time and with/against pre-made teams most of the time, and i actually find it potentially more frustrating than most games of starcraft. what i mean to say is, don't look down on a genre or game because it looks silly or easy unless you want to appear simple or silly yourself.. simple as that. | ||

They pretty much have to hope that the other team fucks up. They have to play very defensive and hope that the other team gets to agressive and maybe overextends. This way they might win a huge teamfight and can turn the game around. | ||
