In Broodwar, it was defended by siege tanks. In SC2, Terrans don't get siege tanks so they can't really outrange Stalkers. They have to move out to attack, but are at the mercy of forcefields.

I liked the second game better than the first but only because of Oz's decision to do something instead of nothing with his warp prism after jakjii scouted it

But isn't it interesting that 3gates pump out a stronger army than 4rax? :-) When half of your army get FF and fight the main army... + Guardian shield... and another point... When your army of 50 mineral unit fight after Sentry and stalkers which are really gas heavy units and cost way more...

Yes, that's the first sign that he's new, he still has his sanity :-p (But if you've ever been in a LR thread before you should know who Asha is, because he's one of the few people whose posts don't make you want to abandon society and live in a shack on a mountain somewhere.) @the poll numbers -- it's just a popularity contest, basically. The games were pretty much the same situation, but Oz is more popular, so when he wins it's recommended. Granted if Jjakji won in an entertaining or epic game, that would probably get good votes too, but still.

But unlike in BW you can hold off early stalker aggression with a bunker with marines unlike goon pressure where you needed to repair the bunker until tanks come out

I think it was more of Oz's play, this coming from an Oz fan.

Doing that will completely change the game, where it goes to the fact that toss will not see the tech lab and do another build altogether.

I don't really watch Brood War very much, but the Bulldog tactic was very effective until Terrans grab siege tech. Its a similar situation really. Instead of Dragoons being impossible to kill with bio if properly controlled, Terrans will be at the risk of his army being forcefielded. Anything to make mech more viable or make early game situation more interesting. Of course, marines have equal range in bunkers however, unlike BW counterparts. To be honest I think they need to reintroduce back range upgrade for marines.

The protoss played very badly the first game, therefore no surprise it was a giant 'NO'. However, the second game was pretty good, as Oz made use of every unit to crush his opponent. Obs/warp prism for high ground vision, Stalkers to pick off stuff and those sick FF.
