I think you're completely wrong. Nerchio used the Ultras as they're supposed to be used. Not building 10 of them and blocking himself off, but throwing 3-4 in the mix. They're still pretty horrible VS Immortals, but paired with Zerglings they're excellent VS Blink Stalkers. Throw in some nice fungals and it's a valid army composition.
Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

There were a lot of mistakes and I feel it was a smidge overblown by day9/bitter.

The mutas destroyed Mana's main and mana went and attacked a 4th base that at that point in the game was relatively superfluous. All those cannons could have been something else anything else. At the 3rd I can kind of understand, but way too many cannons at the natural. The position was very strong already so adding 10 cannons was a little over doing it I feel.

Holy fuck, Tod just hid another probe in the same sort of spot as last game, RIGHT where an expo would go. Ling wraps all around the base, but can't see the expo spot on his way through. Fucking brilliant.

Thing is, Nerchio kind of abandoned Mutas nearer the end because they are so bad in a straight up fight and there were too many cannons.

What Mana could have done better? Take the 4th and fortify it with cannons while Nerchio had no army once Nerchio's fifth was down.

As an aside, I find it really interesting that Mana managed to stay very relevant in the EU scene while Naama has had a fall from grace ever since last Dreamhack Winter.

Yeah, easy when all you have to do is look at one battle.

Not so easy when you have units getting rallied off 4 hatches poping, hitting injects, expanding and attacking or getting ready to attack another place all at the same time. People only walk thier units into a battle like that because they aren't looking, no one ever watches thier infestors run into the middle of a fight
