So true, it's so bad to watch the crowd from MLGs to immediately get up and leave before the award is given. At least people in Dreamhack show some respect for the players.
This didn't happen at all the MLG's... remember Anaheim and Columbus were amazing. It's just the venue they chose at Providence, the population there didn't seem as into the game. It's not something MLG can control if the crowd wants to leave... but next time, MLG may smarten up and hold their events in SoCal from now on. Why risk poor crowds traveling around when you can have an awesome crowd every time in Anaheim?
People are trying to compare apples to oranges and forget the MLG is a traveling thing and always deals with a different venue, a way different type of tournament, and a way different business model.
How is that relevant to whether the crowd stays 5 more minutes to watch the award being given?
75 percent of the crowd was standing throughout all of MLG.
Of course they are going to leave when it is done. Car is the only place to sit FFS.
Yeah the seating situation at MLG was god awful. My legs were not pleased.
I thought my knees were going to shatter.
Don't worry, these people talking nonsense have probably never been to a live event in their life where they had to stand for 12 hours a day to watch something, and had real life obligations after several hours of travel.
That parking lot thing was silly too, $12 to leave or something (in Orlando) so that was out of the question to get food.
In New England it is very common to get stuck in the parking for garage for 4 to 6 hours depending on how many accidents happen.
Honestly I wanted to leave when leenock threw down the roach warren but I could not find my friend.
I am sure CHAIRS would be a really good investment, but you also get idiots who reserve 4 seats for there friends.
Lol. Well, I am guessing it had to do with fire codes or something. But it was really sad to see 10 of 100 black ops seats occupied with 500 SC2 fans standing the entire time.

We have to wait for a counter on the EG site and we know it.
If anyone does take HerO it will be Korean-based team that is affiliated with another one.
EG won't lay one hand on HerO.
how did huk "betray" teamliquid cant believe people are still crying over that, if you got a higher paying job at a different location and it will be better for you would you not take it? or do you think loyalty revolves around the whole world these days, huk gets paid top 3 in the world and enjoys being on EG even players on teamliquid supported him and there his teammates your just a fan simple as that
do you see me crying? f no
you want to leave that's fine by me
I'm just telling it the way it is man.
TL is a lot like ToT. It's a brotherhood more than anything else.
I am a fan of HerO and what does that have anything to do with the matter? You don't see me yelling TL TL TL. I don't really root for any SC2 team at the moment.

Yeah I guess expecting respect from people was too much.
Get off your high horse dude. Honestly.
You get off yours. Saying you had to stand for 12 hours is exactly why I'm saying you could stand 5 more minutes. But whatever, I'm not going to argue this, it's clear you're one of the people who just left and are trying to rationalize it now.

Yeah I know it was fire codes or something but then something needs to give. Better venue or something.
Also to be clear for SC2 finals the Halo stage, the LoL COD stage, and the SC2 stage were all filled with all SC2 and the projection was SC2 finals.
Props to whoever selected the music for the event, several kind of strange choices that worked quite well throughout, and made the entire thing more memorable (tough to decide between random rise of the valkyries and completely random bacon bacon bacon action for the moment that had me laughing harder)

Just paste the link, no tags are required.
TL is advanced, it does stuff for you automatically.
