But seriously ZvZ has evolved into an awesome MU. No TvT but still pretty darn awesome/ PvP has shown some potential and i hope it evolves into something cool.
If anything, I'm starting to feel both ZvZ and PvP are actually better than TvT. Strange how much things have changed(since I hated both before).
I still think PvP is terrible and that TvT is quite good, but I really do enjoy ZvZ. It feels like most players no longer die to straight out build counters, and instead it's typically a super intense early game with a very flexible midgame (though roach plat still tends to be most common) and some interesting late game options (we don't see too much late game sadly yet).
In terms of pure excitement though ZvZ's really capable of providing non-stop edge of the seat awesomeness.

Weirdly enough, my connection is shit at my campus, and I don't lag at all. Nothing you can do I fear.
That's really fast internet, here in Aus, I only got something like 3.5mbps for download and 0.5mbps for upload, and pay $100 a month, what a rip off T_T

Being older is a big deal in Korean culture. It makes a lot of sense.
It also shows grace; you always see the winner shake hands with the loser. It's an act of humility and acknowledgment of skill by your beaten foe. Also, the loser probably appreciates not having to leave the booth immediately after an emotional loss.

omg, please stop this. He have beaten MVP in a bo3, and Neaste in 2 bo3. Also he has beaten DRG amongst others. You dont think he deserves that spot?
To be brutally honest, I think working your way up from Code A ---> Code S is the only legit way. But MLG and GSL want to do business, so I guess MLG is one form of entry? If only Naniwa played through the Open bracket and still won the MLG national finals, then the Code S is deserved undoubtedly.
Anyway, all this is airy talk as the only thing that matters now is leenock v Naniwa
Probably the hardest tournament thats happened in the west as of yet. its really the opposite unless thats what you meant.
He went to the uk qualifiers for the easy money instead of participating at mlg.
This is the hardest tourney that has ever happened in SC2.
You have weeks between GSL matches to study your opponent and relax, prepare, get in a mental state, etc.
In MLG, if you start in the open, you play non-stop basically.
Ya I also think this is the hardest tournament (of course thanks to all the Koreans) but not because there is no time to prepare. In the GSL, both players have time to prepare so it pretty much evens out. I think MLG is more difficult just because of the number of quality players you have to go through in order to make it to the championship bracket, while in the GSL, there often seems to be "weaker" code S players that you need to go through first.

It's just 2 BO3s and Nani needs to win 1 to win. The way it's worded is misleading.
that makes no sense though. this assumes that leenock would have lost 2-0 to naniwa if they had met along the way.
which means that if leenock had actually played naniwa on his way to the finals and lost 2-1, he would be better off than he is now.
here i was excited that the extended-best-of rule would finally not ruin the finals.
If it were the way the person you're responding to stated, it would be standard double elimination. Leenock is not worse off, that is absolutely standard double elimination. Leenock already burned one of his sets earlier in the tournament, Naniwa still has both his so he has to lose two to be eliminated, in that sense it's fair, the added extended series spin for the final is what it is.
Nestea MMA MVP Stephano Naniwa DRG Leenock Dreamhack Winner WCG Winner Open Spot (4th place in GSL points is MC, so more than likely him)
Since MVP already has two of the spots (being #1 in GSL points and Blizzcon), the guy with the 4th points, MC, should go. If there is another repeat DH or WCG, the fifth placed player in the GSL points, Polt should go. If somehow there is two repeats at Dreamhack/WCG, then MKP is sixth and would probably go.
Or they just invite the runners-up in both DH and WCG.
