Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

Well every game that I've watched it have hit the same time as spire is going up (zerg is banking) +/or expansions are going up. This is why mutas where out of PvZ for a while, now Naniwa have found the perfect timing to deny muta play (I mean DRG had gold base running for a while and killed of a bunch of zealots).

Anyone remember how Naniwa stated that he was going to win in Providence after winning Dallas. Looks a promise right now.

It all goes back to the gold. He took a base he couldn't defend. He probably overdroned because he saw the robo bay being constructed... So he figured he had a few minutes... But Nani only made 1 and no range. Just to help out with lings.
If he had taken normal bases and just made enough units he could hold it. It's not an invincible push...

Wow I just realized Nani has lost so much weight... Is he working out in Korea or should we start to get worried about his crazy practice negatively affecting his health?

ALL of his units are on 1 hotkey and he just amoves his zealots and stalkers at the same time....URRRGGGHHHH
Let's just ignore his amazing collosus save there whilst being flanked....

nani's decision making and micro during that entire game was impeccable
drg was the one that went hidden gold, which is per definition an economic cheese (pray to god it doesn't get scouted too early, or you'll lose)
The two base timing was, additionally, a reactionary decision based on scouting intel. It was the correct decision.
This is true. The immediate decision to go for 8 gates in response to the gold base was a brilliant reaction. Everything about his play this tourney has been top notch.
I'm so disappointed that we will most likely have a 2-0 up bo7 final though. Would think for the 50k game they would make it a straight up bo5 or something. Makes no sense.

Naniwa did the right thing by going 2 base all-in against early gold. But goddamn DRG should have been able to hold that pathetic on his part, he should be so much better than that.
I really hope leenock wins, I don't want to see DRG's pathetic ZvP get crushed again by getting 2 based like that.
If he does win please prove me wrong and make a longer than 12 minute game please.

drg was going for muta. he had like no units both games for almost the entire duration until he saw nani's army

it is pretty much bit by bit 2.0 Right, so his micro in those battles was not impressive to you? Oh, and PS Bit by Bit never made an expansion...
Yeah, because it takes a lot of talent to take an blind early gold base.

i feel like the korean style zvp of high econ low tech is just a build order loss to two-base senty/colossus.

As much as I wanted DRG to kick Naniwas ass, Naniwa is simple Stephano-godlike right now.

Stop whining about timing attacks. He does the build he thinks will win with what tools he has. Not like he's gonna screw up winning 50k USD only to please you numbnuts.

Seriously, people saying that he is allin on 2 base. I don't get it :p. 2base allin doesn't exist. Nah this is definitively an all in. To really identify an all in just ask yourself something. If he loses the battle will be be behind or in an unwinnable position? If its the later its is an all in people need to learn the difference between Cheese and All-in. Cheeses tend to be All-ins, but not every All-in is a Cheese. But people equate it to a cheese and automatically assume that if you have more than 1 base you cant be all in. people also need to learn that sometimes u need to go ALL IN if naniwa tries to take a third and play a macro game, he most likely loses he made the right decision in that situation

There are an absolute ton of pro players who don't 2 base. In fact there are very few players I would say 2base consistently.

Comments like these are completely idiotic. Get some game knowledge before you make dumb comments like this. dual sight is ridiculously hard to take a 3rd as protoss, thats why he 2 based. Metalopolis if you FFE and the zerg takes the gold base you are compeltely forced to 2 base. Theres no way you can hold your 3rd with the ridiculous amount of lings/roaches hell be able to produce early game.
