I think it's the underdog phenomenon: Terran is perceived as OP (not saying they are or are not, please don't go there), thus the majority is rooting against Terran players, even against those playing near perfection such as MVP. | ||

The issue is frequency. Relying on timings most of your games is hugely different to mixing them in. EDIT: Could it be because he is just too good, that no one equal him and people like to root for underdogs and for players that actually have a decent chance of losing?
