Also, MVP was researching upgrades, was building an armory, had a third base, had a factory, and was building a starport. MC had an army with no upgrades, no third expo and no tech. He saw the attack coming it's why he made 4 bunkers and supply wall, the reason he lost is because he didn't have medivacs....its the same shit with 1/1/1 you generally lose if you dont have colo out or get caught early without immortals, scouting isn't an issue for protoss on the 1/1/1 timing because of observers and has 1/1/1 even been used in a broadcast series this MLG? lol | ||

I don't feel its entirely equal though. MC could have lost if he wasn't able to retain his sentries (which in this case was lucky AI firing) and his forcefields did really really well. His units were attacking the bunkers and only the bunkers were shooting back as far as ranged units go. He also forcefielded units of MVP's away from the fight on the left side using MVP's buildings to help him in that respect. Focus firing scvs on the bunkers with range and letting the zealots to a lot of the damage on the bunkers primarily was also a nice touch. I just feel that in this example MVP got outplayed. While I don't deny the ease of 6 gate to perform in general but its not the same as the 1-1-1 in the sense that if the first attack fails its often over and there isn't a follow up attack, scouting it is also much much easier theoretically  Both are difficult to hold but I wouldn't equate them. The 1/1/1 has more of a follow up than a 6 gate since the 1/1/1 incorporates tech so transitions are easier for Terran than no tech 6 gate for protoss. | ||
