also pretty cool to see leenock finally make it. the dude has had the WORST luck in every single tournament, getting stuck in groups of death 24/7 (including this one). he's a beast.

Awesome results, now we won't have to hear Artosis constant slobbering over Nestea anymore.

Can't believe how terrible Nestea was yesterday. Huk lost the first game for free, worst game ever. Didn't look good either MMA is just gonna meet MVP once again and take this GSL too. SangHo has to be the best macro Protoss atm. Give him the big map like Calm Before The Storm is just like a free win. May be Zerg's deathball could beat him on that map. Otherwise PvT is too good for him. His PvP is shitty as usual. Oz is good, glad for him, he could make R4 I believe. LeeNock is kinda good but no really that good in ZvP and ZvZ

Nestea just really fell apart, not much else to say. I feel like Leenock should have been trying to get more probe kills with his mutas, because he was poking in and out for so long, but not really gaining much from it while HuK had 3rd fully secured and mining. Those storms on the banelings really was the turning point of the game, and I think HuK should have won from there. The last battle that killed him, he should have just attacked Leenock's army instead of trying to snipe that last base. If he had gotten feedbacks on all the infestors then he could have just blink microed to victory.
MMA played well as expected, and Leenock pulled through in the end. Wishing best of luck for HuK and Nestea in Code A though!
I just wanted to point out that the mutas poking in and out was not meant for probe kills as Huk's blink stalkers would make that near suicide, but rather they were meant to DENY Huk from getting a 4th base while Leenock macros up which Leenock did beautifully.

You keep using this word "scrub" I do not think it means what you think it means.

Scrub means awesome person right? I think he means awesome person..

Leenock, the Prince of War could very well win this GSL!
also, fffu for Huk, had a great chance to go deep but blew it.

Either you are trolling or you've never actually watched Leenock play, the kid is a beast

Agreed. I feel we've only scratched the surface of MVP's Marine/Tank/Banshee, and MC has shown that his PvT is astoundingly good of late. If we see MVP vs MC on Calm Before the Storm in the Finals I will nerdgasm.

His bias is so damn annoying and I'm glad I unmuted the cast for today! lol yea bias for a 3 time gsl champion and blizzcon finalist Nestea is the best zerg in the world, nobody is denying that. But Artosis DOES have extreme bias towards Nestea which makes his usually spectacular casting less than pleasurable. As a caster, he should have no bias whatsoever, unless it's in a joking manner (as in the case of Clide). Bias just makes the casting obnoxious and doesn't give credit to the other player when it's due. Tastosis is still the best caster in the world
If you can't tell how much artosis and tasteless have been joking about the nestea bias/love then you really need to open your eyes.

Don't think Artosis is joking about Nestea... or Clide...

DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD= Nestea/Huk my heart goes out.
|
you could see Artosis go from standard Nestea hype to unhappy to dead inside when casting Nestea's play last night.
|
Its ok Huk - you will still do well in the ro24 code A. Tough being in the group of death!

So, just watched all of the VoDs from today:
- MMA is sick good (thats surprising, right?) - 1st Huk vs Leenock game was just awful. - Nestea vs Huk, I was actually glad that Nestea lost, dont like that guy. I think he tends to be too cocky and thats also the reason why he lost to Huk today, imho. Also the Artosis hype/bias for Nestea is just disgusting... - 2nd Leenock vs Huk game was actually pretty good, too bad Huk didnt take it, he definitely had a chance - Pretty standard TvPs in second group, I was surprised how well Alive did (the game vs Killer was entirely Killers loss, not Alives win though) - Killer vs Happy was the best game of entire day imho - Oz played better in PvP, deserved to go to Ro8, although I am a little sorry for Killer. He isnt the best player out there, but he is still smiling and joking and stuff, you have to love that guy And his PvT in macro games is actually pretty good

Hey... you.... I think you may be biased... -.-
Jk, jk. Congrats on Leenock and Oz
FXO is turning into a beast of a team.

the game of huk vs leenock, where artosis kept calling for psi storm as "the only way to deal with mass mutas" ... so many templars huk had wouldnt it be much better to just get a bunch of archons + blinkstalkers, like actually skip psionic upgrade altogether ??
seems like a much better, much more reliable counter to muta ling baneling to me than storm, even in the late game against the broodlords (killing broodlings so well)
i have to say i find this super obvious so i have been wondering for a long time why nobody ever seems to do that. obviously im not a pro so i must be missing something here, can somebody plz enlighten me
