I would say you don't really "fall" to code A until the tourney is over at least (or you get knocked out of the code A portion and U&D). It's kind of completely different now since only 8 people won't "fall" to code A.

Played really well but clide is too passive in either attack or macro. You need to expand and set up. Not just send a max army off 3 base and expect to win a game.

Maybe not top 10 was what you were looking for. Shame really, his TvT is pretty good. He had a good game against MMA last season.

The point is that the harass didn't work because of excellent play. Hellions, mutas and drops were all mostly denied.

It's good when drops and mutas and stuff aren't killing everything. That shows high level play. Parrying attacks while dealing out your own is going to be a constant when people start to get really good, and that game was an example of the early outworkings of excellent macro play.

he wouldve probably attacked right when the mutas came in and caught the medivac with marines.. harass 3d or nat and move out.

His mech TvT was good, but with the hellion nerf mech TvT players are struggling, and probably will continue to do so until HotS.

Clide's playstyle is much more suited to mech, imo. He doesn't harass, his micro is mediocre to poor, and his multi-tasking is non-existent.

All this explains his struggles in TvP, where mech isn't viable, but he really should take a page from Happy's book and start meching in TvZ.

It was a good plan until the 3rd base. Once he got it set up, he didn't seem to have an idea of what to do except just attack and hope to win.

I think he means the one where the attacks would hit the repairing SCV on the other side of a Command Center.
