Wow, I don't know if there is a game today that I will not have at least some interest in. This is insane. The only sad thing is that it is looking like the korean terrans are at it again. Who can stop them?

It was also before IdrA started playing better, we don't know what could happen in that match.
no that was before idra started slumping and around his prime, idra placed 4th and won ipl the week prior. Idra might've been even stronger back then compared to now.
4th? not at DH He lost to MC first round of playoffs

Actually he did say he is going to Korea apparently, but nothing is official/announced though.
Stephano said that he WILL go to Korea, because he thinks he has learnt everything that is possible in Europe, but he also stated that he wasn't interested in participating in the GSL
And then he said we would take the spot if he wins it, but he wont be participating in qualifiers. Thats what i remember atleast.
Can't he just ask GomTv a code A spot since he won IPL? (foreigners winning any relevant event can apply for a "free" code A spot right?)
well, we will be seeing him in blizzard cup I'm much more stoked seeing him play against mvp and nestea than code a randoms.

I meant that he placed 4th at mlg columbus the week prior to DH, therefore sase beat idra in his prime.

If Polt wins against TLO, Sheth and Haypro, and Hero or HongUn kill Tyler/Machine Idra + Ret + SaSe/Kiwikaki/Stephano (if they defeat BoXer) will get the Code A spots. SaSe will get the spot if BoXer proceeds and nothing unexpected happens with Polt and HerO. I think it will be Idra, Ret and Stephano/SaSe, what do you think?
Did any of those people express interest in going to Korea for the next GSL though? (not indefinite, but near future)
I think Idra would clearly take a spot, as he's going to Korea soon. Same goes with SaSe since he's practicing there.
After that, who though? Can't see Sheth/Slush/Tyler/Machine/TLO going for sure. That leaves Kiwi/Stephano/Ret/Haypro...? I personally think none of them want it either.
Which means, funnily enough, the spot could fall to Drewbie if he's still in Korea.
Or... if he's leaving...
Jinro.
For the code A spots, i 100% agree. I think it dont worth it for most for the listed players. Too hard, too long, low prices, it's much more interesting for them to get money from their stream.
But for the code S spot...i think it could change their mind. At least for a single GSL,

idra has a problem where he will just suicide his mutas into marines with medivacs
i dont know how many times it will have to happen before he realizes he could just run away and regroup with more lings... throwing game after game away because he likes making too many mutas.

its funny that both idra and stephano threw away big leads in zvt on shakuras

Certainly true, but at that point he was pretty much screwed regardless. MKP had a pretty huge tech advantage over him, and it was 3base vs 3base (Idra's 4th was just a hatch). That let him trade incredibly cost efficiently, and you saw Idra's money whittle down to nothing even before he lost the mutas while MKP still had tons of cash.

Of course he will take Code A&S spot if he gets it, as long as it fits his schedule. I don't see why he wouldn't, he is going to Korea for sure after all.
