I don't really see how they could avoid that. Unless you specifically seed foreigners to avoid playing each other... and even then, this is the championship bracket, no way to tell where people will end up. It's going to be random regardless of the tournament system.

How so ? http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2011_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Orlando#Championship_Bracket Just imagine that Stephano doesn't lose any match till the end... TheSTC, who's 1st of pool C, will be on the road of Stephano if defeated by Bomber. If TheSTC beats Bomber, he will meet Stephano in Grandfinals.

Hope they will rework this in the next year. you do realize that pool play and beyond is common in most tournaments, the eventuality that they will eliminate each other is standard...main reason people have problems with format is championship bracket player retention and extended series, but this has nothing to do with it

Rooting for Sase, Stephano, Ret or Huk to take down the championship! Have a really hard time choosing who my favorite is... Was all ready somewhat of a fan of Sase, but he's been on the top (3) of my list since Grubby's Starcraft Series 1. I love Stephano's inspirational play and it would be awesome if he could take 2 majors in a row. Ret has been my favorite Zerg, partially becasue he's Dutch, partially because he's so cool. Huk deserves another big win, his Mothership play as well as his dedication made me a big fan a year ago.

Seriously though, I believe in BoxeR. I'll be rooting for him hard at Barcraft today.

![]() If he plays like he did at IPL3, he is still in with a shout... big if though.. If not, MKP! reddit did a great thing bringing him there, and he is definitely making it worth their money. that gold base play against haypro was genious!

looking at the bracket: - Sase has a tough road ahead since he's weak to zerg. Can definitely see him taking out stephano and idra though considering they're not really strong against protoss either. If he manages to get past that far then he has to probably face july -_-. - Polt will likely beat TLO. Then I could see Sheth beating him tbh - MC and Puma are on a collision course. Drama inc - Kiwi/Stephano better be the first match of the day :D
