He is still very underrated and always seems to have powerful ZvZ. Yea, incontrol isnt doing too good right now, 30% winrate in last 2 months with a lot of those wins vs unknowns in low tier tournaments, hate to say it but he has no place facing bomber right now

Kept trying to take a look because it seemed like the first was in the nat, then later in the main, but never got a good shot of it again, heh. I think you're right. Ok, question................could banelings have saved Slush there? Or am I nuts a speed baneling/zergling flank will always rip the crap out of mass hydra.

Thinking maybe he was intending to tech to hive for broods, but morphed a 2nd lair instead...dunno, kind of weird endgame there, heh.

A little harass and/or defend against remaining roaches would probably have changed the game.

Lair has a massive amount more health than hatches do, it is great lategame to just mass lair/hive everywhere, especially to prevent the warp in 8-10 dt two-shot lair lol you have no overseer style

I think it'd be a fully different game if Slush devoted his muta flock at the beginning entirely to denying that third, and followed up with an upgraded ling/baneling army. I find banelings to be a better follow-up to mutas as they fare reasonably well against roaches, slaughter hydras and now take two fungals to kill with infestors. Ling/bane/muta is insane in ZvZ if you manage to deny their third. Getting the gas advantage in a ZvZ with mutas on the field puts the other zerg at a massive disadvantage. Slush failing to deny the third, then transitioning to infestors means he basically nullified his own spire tech because he'd be fully unable to afford mutas and infestors until at least 4 bases.
