He could just sat back, take a third and transition into hts like in game 1 which he won very convincingly. Its just so upsetting reading through some brainless comments in the LR threads. Mana showed his Colossi quite early (which was a mistake, along with losing his Stalkers) so maybe he thought he had to so something with them before TOP can negate them with Vikings?

32-17 to the Zerg (wow, that's quite a difference) Fruitdealer is 1-1 vs Toss Axslav is 3-2 vs Zerg Not much to play on, so this should be interesting

Like I said, when were sentrys ever the answer to stopping a 4gate? they weren't back then and they still aren't now. Its not like sentrys keep them completely away forever, you will have like 1 sentry by the time they hit and that will save you about 10 seconds of time until they get vision and warp up your ramp. Unless you play really weird and go like 3 sentrys before any other units it doesn't really matter, but like i said if you play greedy in anyway you will still lose. The sentries are there to buy you time until your Tech kicks in(as in Blink Finishes, Immortal comes out, your own warpgate finishes) Of course 4 gate is still viable(anyone who says its dead clearly doesn't play that much/watches enough PvPs) but now 4 gating yourself its not the only option

I think everyone has a range of skill they play at, and perhaps game one was near the bottom of TOP's range, but clearly he plays that poorly sometimes. It is the same for Mana, he clearly played better in Game 1 than Game 3. TOP is an incredible player though, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Finals. That's my point. TOP is reknowned for his macro and mediocre unit control - something everyone who even watches a modicum of GSL would know. One game does not make a player, and even for TOP, his unit control in Game 1 was terrible.

Of course he is still a pretty skilled player, but on this game Top played better Mana seemed quite off from his normal quality of play, also I would like to point out that one thing that he should learn from White-ra is to just mass expand in 4+ game phase. White-ra expands too riskily in early- to mid-game, but his late game expanding style is actually quite good, and from the games of Mana that I saw, he expands too conservatively in late game. In this game it would probably not have helped him anyway, but I see it as a common problem of his, also he does not harrass terrans enough in late game. Another thing he should learn from special tactics ![]()

That doesn't mean that Top is bad because he lost game 1, and it doesn't mean Mana is bad or got cheesed out when he lost game 2.

Here, a player is only good if they won their last televised game or if they're IdrA.
