I wonder if he planned to vortex the BLs with a second delayed one. I don't think he'd have killed Stephano if the whole army popped at once from 1 vortex, but because the roaches came out a bit earlier he could thin the number with his collossi.

Perhaps his hotkeys are different. I know french keyboard settings can be different, and I know the abilities all have different names in other languages versions of the game. Not sure how those end up combining

Every broodlord gets hit by every archon once as the vortex drops because brood lords have such low speed and acceleration. No other units take this damage, but archons mixed in melee range with an army is already a dangerous situation for zerg, without the splash damage

I think the loss was more because the colossi killed all the infestors while the BL's were in the other vortex.
