Completely agree - they're playing as they were 3 months ago, when the strategies (and metagame) have changed so much. Yeah, Maybe Artosis shoul call MC and other top Protoss and teach them the right to play.
Yesterday Puzzle played according to the Artosis doctrine against Bomber, and was way behind without anything happening.

And non serious play is what? Unless he was planning on going 200/200 drones and spine crawler push maybe?

GO HUK! 2:00 Rax gas for Virus, Gate gas cyber for HuK.

So MMA gets rewarded for losing to Nestea by getting to avoid MVP in the Ro8 and getting essentially a free pass to the semifinals. Funny how the final 16 brackets are shaping up. Upper half full of elite players. Lower half full of players who are mistaken as elite players.

i wouldnt consider nesteas play "unbeatable". nada would have simply won if he didnt make a mistake
TvZ is very unforgivable make 1 mistake you lose. for zerg the real only "mistake" they can make is attacking into a line of sieged tanks before they have broodlords,
for terran the mistakes they can make is nut unclumping units vs banelings and attacking banelings without sieging ur tanks no actually he wouldn't have won that game even if he survived that. As long as nestea gets rid of the helions his production is so good that he can pump out a billion lings before the thors actually pose a threat to one of his expansions and he just kills him anyway. wrong. all those banelings would have killed maybe 5 thors if nada had not clumped them up, and the hellions can run back to be safe and kill lings nestea would have lost that game if nada had split his thors. dont expect to counter thors with banelings if the terran is smart and splits his army apart. just warning you zergs out there if you expect to counter thor builds with banelings your going to be depressed when you meet a good terran So he's gonna have to micro his thors INCREDIBLY well ALL the way across the map? Nestea did a flank, no helion was ever going to survive that. Did you see the creep spread? Nestea had so much room to work with it was ridiculous and Nada still had an ocean to go across to actually do anything to nestea. You can't instant split like marine tank. the creep spread is meaningless. thors will be spread pre-fight. hellions outrun banelings on creep its not hard to micro thors. split them apart in a checkerboard formation, a-move them, then press hold position if you want to stop in a location (instead of having all thors bunching up together), and continue. if the enemy engages your thors you attackmove then if you see banelings coming make the back thors move back slightly and you will have a very nice thor-spread it is NOT have to spread thors vs banelings as you attack-move across the map. its very easy micro to be honest. . very easy micro the proper thor splitting that would have allowed nada to win that game is very easy micro. i dont know why he didnt do it, probably was stressed and concentrating elsewhere on the map but seriously the micro is so easy it only takes a little bit attention to make it happen Wtf? Do you even understand how big belshir beach is? That type of micro takes a ton of APM with that many thors trying to get across that map and because you have to wait for the thors to reposition spread out that just means it takes that much longer. If nestea wanted to he could do devastating counterattacks, and tech up to broodlords. He had like over 10 thors, and EVEN if like 7 of them survived it DOESN'T matter as long as he kills off a good number of the helions because the ling reinforcements will destroy the thors easily. that type of micro is VERY easy and takes MINIMAL amount of APM all you do is spread the thors a bit, then A-MOVE to a location far across the map. then scan for banelings and start macroing then press "s" for your thor group which stops them and KEEPS THEM SPLIT now your thors are STILL SPLIT and you can a-move them again across the map and they STAY IN FORMATION then you can macro more and press S when you want to stop then, when your enemy engages you, your thors are ALREADY SPLIT so you attack-move and select a couple thors in the back and move them back slightly and that will give you a great thor spread it is EASY to micro thors and split them across the entire map im not saying nada is bad, he had his reasons he didnt perform that micro, however im just letting zergs out there know, nestea would have lost that game if nada didnt make that mistake. i saw no mistakes made by nestea, but a huge engagement mistake by nada long story short dont expect to counter thors with banelings if you are fighting a terran thats as good as you Dude, in the end it just DOESN'T MATTER. Nestea probably didn't even come out cost efficiently even though the thors were clumped because he had a billion times better economy and production. The game isn't just about army vs. army and 1 engagement. Nestea would have lost that engagement if nada positioned better, but he wouldn't have lost that game. Seriously, every thor could have survived but as long as 10 helions aren't hanging around there's nothing to protect the thors from mass speedling. in the end it does matter because nestea would have lost that game if nada didnt make the mistake zerg normally has more macro. terran must win battles very cost efficiently to win the game, and terran normally has the ability to do it nestea probably WASNT efficient in his army trade, but he was efficient ENOUGH to let him win if nada didnt make the mistake, he would have won the battle with much less losses and he would have been able to kill nestea right there definitely nestea would have lost the GAME if nada split his thors properly, not just the engagement. nada was maxed with hellion/thor and nestea didnt have NP or broodlords anytime soon if nada didnt make the mistake he could have won the battle and killed nesteas entire army and lost only a fraction of his and coulda pushed and won right there with reinforcing thors In the amount of time nada actually reaches one of nestea's expansions nestea would have been remaxed on lings. No one has good enough micro to keep those helions alive against that many banelings and when you're on creep they're gonna get surrounded by lings if they even try to splash them. I've said this like a million times at this point and what you've said has no bearing on the situation. wrong. the amount of time it takes to reach nesteas bases is the same with or without the split-micro. and nada was right on track to win the game as long as he split his thors properly
but nada did not split his thors properly, so he lost
im only talking about this one game. and in this one game, your time arguments do not apply because nada would have clearly won if he didnt mess up his micro. nestea remaxing on lings wouldnt let him win
what you fail to realize is the zerg isnt ALWAYS in a position to remax on lings in time and have it win him the game. in this scenario it wouldnt have been able to stop the push
if nestea remaxed on lings he still would have been fighting 10 thors and 15 hellions with LINGS.
it would have been a loss for nestea
nada was maxed. he woulda lost 7 thors maybe to those 80 banelings but nada was maxed on hellion/thor. nada had like 17 thors, 64 scv's, 17 hellions. thats 200food. after the battle nada still would be making more thors and would have 10 on the field plus hellions to push with and all nesteas units would be dead
your point is a bland complete generalization that doesnt apply to all games. nestea was not massively ahead of economy at the time to let him win if nada microed properly
what YOUVE SAID has no bearing in the game im talking about. im only talking about that ONE GAME, not every scenario where a terran is trying to attack a zerg after a battle

Yeah mentioning the droning up part is silly, nonetheless, almost noone played seriously in the slightest in those showmatches, huk had to because otherwise he wouldve gotten rolled by the super greedy gold and looked stupid
