Perfect drops, feedbacks, denying third the whole game with one single DT. In the end it didn't even matter.

JYP was behind from that and the fact that his 2 base attack did relatively little damage put him in a very difficult to win spot (late third, low upgrades, lost colossus). Taeja could have done his maxed attack a minute or two earlier but his ghost timing was late. He was in a pretty commanding lead... The only reason it went on for another 5-10 minutes after that maxed battle was because of DT harass on Taeja's 4th base, which he, for some reason, didn't deal with at all. Did you watch the game? JYP shut down that expansion for a good 3minutes with DT's alone. And there were only Mules mining it. If you watched the cut back to Taeja's base after he attacked JYP's base, you could see he had a good 30 SCVs mining a single mineral patch at his natural. It took awhile before it was actually mining

The best part was when taeja would back the units out of storm and then 1a them back into the storm anyway. What? Taeja's storm dodging was really good for most of the game......

Pro terrans don't seem to get any respect for their wins anymore. You should have seen the LR for MVP vs July in the code S semi's like 5 solid pages of imbalance QQ

I can buy the late game of a matchup being a "caster war", but being at -1 range is pretty silly if you think of it that way. And maybe have Storm deal more than 50% of what it did in BW. Agree! Ghost beats Templar in every conceivable way.

Still pulling for Taeja/JYP :D Uhh let's look at it now. Taeja 2-0 JYP 1-1 Violet 1-1 Trickster 1-1 MKP 0-2 So if MKP wins his remaining two and goes 2-2, whilst JYP, Violet and Trickster don't win more than once, sure there's a chance.

I stopped watching for a bit after the Warp Prism drop and the Colossi killing a lot of SCVs at the natural but I thought he was pretty far behind after that. I know upgrades might have had something to do with it, but how? Did JYP expand late or something? He had his 3rd mining the whole time unscouted, while JYP was still on 2 bases for a long time. So the harass was very successful but only equalized the game.
