See, these are the kinds of posts I'm talking about. Bottom line, POLT IS ONE OF THE BEST TERRANS IN THE WORLD. NEVER underestimate him and ever say he's going to get "crushed". Unless he's against Nestea or something. That reminds me of the Super Tournament final, where MMA already had won it after his victory over MKP. Right?

1.) polt had tanks behind his marines.
2.) polt split his marines three times to get that concave.
you need to rewatch the game and don't make stuff up.
if it's sickening for you, don't watch any terran games on gsl. you act as if keen didn't go marine/tank during that game (hint: keen had 5 rax in that game)

Why does Moletrap always think he knows what he's talking about? TOP got to RO4 before.

Definitely rooting for Genius. Too many Terrans in GSL.

I think one of the reasons why Polt doesn't get the credit from some people is because he relies so heavily on tempo based play. His econ management/macro is nothing special so when he runs into a guy with good defense and deliberate play (like vs MVP in ro32), then Polt looks quite vulnerable and sloppy.
You still got to give him credit because he's making it work but you wonder what will happen if people start to figure out some of his timings.

I think this is somewhat accurate; however I wouldn't underestimate Polt at a macro game either

He had like 3 tanks that were behind his marines and didn't even siege up and his "split" was basically making them into a wall instead of a ball. It's nothing at all like marine splits vs banelings.
I'm trying to enjoy watching Starcraft 2 but this kind of playstyle is really making it hard for me.

I was only taking GSL results into account. I'm sure he's done better outside of it

TOP will go cloakshee each game, Genius will do his usual allins which don't involve getting a robo, 3-0 xD

This x 100. He played fine against Keen and it got him the win, but you clearly can see some holes in his play when he over-commits and loses like 3 tanks and 15 marines trying to target fire a bunker being chain repaired. Seriously unnecessary, just back up and make the contain.

I hope top has enough class not to make this become a 1/1/1 or void ray all in game, lets hope for some ggs
|
Goooo Genius. Bust out those Void Rays.

Polts record in general besides TvP isn't that great it got significantly better after he focussed on progaming though . His TvZ should be his weak point BUT i wouldn't take that DRG GSTL Game too serious it was a Lair Cancel ( after Polt scanned it ) Baneling bust that totally took him offguard. He wouldn't win a GSL on TvZ though , just middle of the pack there i think.
