With half of Pumas SCVs with the push, the longer Kiwi waited, the more he would get ahead in supply for the final battle. Nothing to be gained by charging into battle in the middle of the map. Yeah I don't understand that either. Seems like that counter should revolve around delay, delay, delay, and never push while hes sieged if you can avoid it (which you can when its in the middle of the map). Puma had half his SCVs there doing nothing, and Kiwi had plenty of room to fall back since he engaged so far out, not sure why he didn't bide his time longer

how can people say wp puma when he didn't do anything accept waiting to attack with half his scvs out in the open? terran just waits for any attack and win..

wow if only kiwikaki did his homework that pumas does the same thing in xel naga

Seriously? he 7-0'd the bracket and 5-0'd the pool dropping only two games, 1-1-1ing only once.
If you don't think he is a code S player, then you are delusional.

I saw Open Bracket, but missed Pool Play, and the OP doesn't show which games were broadcasted...
BTW, when would VOD's be available? you can rewind the broadcast and watch in order

He was getting a good enough composition to beat it if he just stalled longer and warped in more stalkers.
And WHY would he pick Xelnaga when 1/1/1 is so strong on that map... I can't figure his thought process. no...stall longer=more marines, and Kiwi has nothing that does AoE, marines too much DPS.

1 Gate expand has to go robo after nexus to hold off any banshee play... and get 2 observers actually. Meaning you'll have NOTHING to deal with any early preasure.
This is the whole problem with PvT atm... the 1-1-1 has broken the game... Or maybe not, but if a T places his building right and only shows marines it forces a robo and 2 observers... Meaning if he goes marauders and marines, and aggro or just exp, the protoss will be way behind. This is so stupid.

People who think 1gate is the best response haven't played against the build enough.

Kiwi also wasted 2 guardian shields, and when he did attack he force fielded his zealots away from the marines so he only managed to kill scvs.

But I expect the 1-1-1 whine to get even louder now.
Even pulling half his SCVs with mules their income is not that much different. This is why Korean experts have said youhave to one gate expand to have a chance of holding this off. However for some reason Day9, Artosis etc, all try to insist that one basing works.

lol - Puma 3-0's MC at IEM (albeit first game was 1-1-1) and people complain... this guy is honestly just too good. Hope to see him in Code S soon,

I don't get why he would engage there. He is mining so much more with all these SCVs sitting there, so why doesn't he wait for Puma to push further in?
