The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:
1. Whining about stream 2. Bashing other games 3. Flaming other users 4. Bashing players 5. Complaining about imbalance
Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#) |

What does 1 gate expand lose to? It can hold 2 rax reactor pressure relative easily if you pull probes and dont skim on units. Even if you lose some probes, you will be ahead. You are on even footing if the terran goes for 1 rax expand, which he won't do on that map unless its on the main because of the wide expansion. Though 1 gate expand is weak to scv all ins, aren't 3 gate or 1 gate robo weak to that as well?
1 gate expand is so solid yet I see no one use it. Am I missing something that it cannot POSSIBLY hold off? I just don't see why people dont do the 1 gate expand especially since doing so always gives u a free win against 1/1/1 if played properly.

Anybody know what's going to happen with the 3 way tie in Group A? Perhaps MLG seeding points?

I don't want to see EG.1-1-1 in code S at all, he doesn't deserve it lawl at your believes, If nada or select would be someone like MC withe the 1/1/1 you would be parsing him... I wouldn't be. I play zerg and I still think the 1-1-1 is bullshit

Cause then you get 2rax all-in'd and die even faster.

That's EXACTLY the problem.

Banshee don't accomplish anything against zerg. More marine, and medivac instead. That's what you call a strong marine tank push. :<

Don't feel bad, Kiwi is playing great and it looks like he could be onto something. Feel good knowing that Puma was worried knowing Kiwi could beat him in a straight up game so he went for the easiest winning strat.

actually I think he was pretty stupid to engage in the middle, he should have just kept slowing the push down now that I thinka bout it. He forced Puma to siege in middle of the map so he could have forced puma to leapfrog his tanks

Lol, PuMa was Flash's practice partner and some other pros as well in BW.
It's not because he uses 1-1-1 that he's suddenly a piece of crap. PuMa is much more skilled RTS-wise than everybody else in this tournament.

There you go protoss players, 1base robo/Stargate against 1-1-1, I think it should work. Especially if he were to bring some probes along... not the 15 that PuMa did, but say 5-10.[/QUOTE]
problem is, if the trade is even then terran will just do the same push in a couple minutes due to MULES. ptoss cant expand, as shown by puma vs MC, and if its 1base vs 1base T will just float to the natural. dunno why kiwi picked this map, i woulda rather seen shakuras, which would have been a great map for the stalker/collo push he had been doing..
