The Phoenixes force the Terran to stay in their base while they are building up their 1/1/1, pick off whatever Mules they can to keep your 1 base to 1 base income similar, discourage banshees because they can hunt them down and force them to cloak far away from your base, lets you get your army out on the map so that you can pick a location to engage. Then when you engage, they negate the siege tanks to some degree. At the least, they let your units get in range without getting shelled first. I dunno, I think there is something there. | ||
