Yeah that's about right. I don't think TLO even tried to level up, you saw Grubby kill those mobs, the turtles and shit, but I didn't see TLO do that.

Kills, you saw TLO even running his grunt off to die at creeps, therefore denying the exp for Grubby.

only from kills. hence why we saw TLO suicide a grunt into those creeps in the first game so that grubby's hero won't gain experience.

Kills  . It's quite easy to understand tbh ;p once you see a couple of games you really get the game in general.
