That's just my point, because of where the upgrade is on the tech tree it is an afterthought (after colossi and after thermal lance), by which time splitting your army into what ever you load into the warp prism/warp in under it may make the difference between winning and losing if the Terran counters.

We have to wait until release because up until that point they'll be trigger happy with their balance changes. When HotS is released, we may unleash its true strength.

Yup, T definitely can't keep up in sheer worker production, chrono works as described :p
Only other things to consider is mules stack (T can 1base more effectively) and give immediate payout while chrono eats up more money in the short run while you spend in double-time on probes. Two factors that lead to P FEs getting really punished by 1base T.

Yes, BUT 2 Chrono costs the same amount of energy as 1 mule, and don't forget that you'll essentially have 1 mule for 1 oc the entire game whereas the probes you chronoboost accumulate

I dont know that i remmember that good , but 1 Mule = 6 scv
1 mule = 6 scv mining at the rate of 24+ scv/base. 1 mule = 3.5 scv mining at the rate of 1-16 scv/base.
In this case we had Thorzain mining with 19 scv on 16 patches (he had 12 left) and Socke (he had 28 ? or 32, don't remember, this is the same anyway) with 3 on gaz, so it's 24 probes on 8 patches, which is like only 100mn/minute more than thorzain. And with dual scv (which are on unsaturated bases) he did made up the difference in no time and quickly out-produced him.
