Its time to feel blessed, be happy, and enjoy starcraft 2 life. We're fortunate, remember that! SC2 fighting! |

I didn't even follow BW that closely and it disgusts me, I can't imagine how it makes you die-hard BW fans feel >.> I didn't watch any BW during boxer's time, but tbqh i would love to see things other then these atks all the time out of him vs zerg players. Watch Boxer vs. Sen then. Boxer only plays like this against Idra because it is Idra's biggest weakness. It would be stupid for Boxer to play a macro game (long been his Achilles heel) against Idra's superb late-game management.
I still think Boxer should either do these early attacks or go for a super super late game since unlike BW macro actually gets easier late and is at its hardest in the midgame.

So... you don't like seeing him... attack Zerg players? What? lol wat? I ment these blue flame hellion/marine/medivac atks twice in a row or 2 rax all the time pressure etc.

I'm disgusted people are defending this series as a showmanship of skill, and not simply about coinflip pushes
5 blue flame hellions is a pretty good indication that there might be a blue flame hellion attack coming don't you think?

Yeah, unfortunately there is no free lunch in real life. Rofl @ simple maths. Unfortunately this is how it works:

Blizzard makes ~$400 MILLION USD yearly, as of 2011. Saying they make $165 MILLION USD/month off WoW is nothing short of dumb.

From what I've ready all of EG was training pretty hard in Cali the week before.
I don't think it is a training issue, we've still seen idra play some great games over the past few months, it isn't like he can't win a series. I mean, do people already forget how he looked in pool play just in the last MLG? He just hasn't put it all together to win a tournament but the guy is always in the top 4 or 5 consistently. I'd venture to say that although he doesn't have the big wins, he's one of the guys outside of Korea that is consistently there at the end and often the only Zerg left standing.
The internet.. such a land of extremes. Honestly, Boxer's style just matches up perfectly to take out a player like idra. The guy has so many great pressure timings, and we all know that has always been what can get idra.
The guy is still a great player and one of the best. Also, everyone just expected Boxer to show up and not be in form, but clearly he has found time to practice, and looked sharp. I for one don't want to downgrade idra but throw some props to Boxer for showing up with a great plan, some nice builds, and looking sharp. The guy has something to prove so well played by him.

Lots of uninformed people in this thread already. Idra played very well actually...and he did scout both games(that Overlord placement in the first game was perfect). He defense was also pretty damn good....the last minute queen block in the first game, and defending the blue flame/rine timing in the second game with just queens and lings was amazing.
You just can't know what he is going to do after that, and he went Muta, which are very fragile.

Idra just cant compete even against Boxer anymore, who lets face it, is barely practicing for SC2.
why do people react so much to one series? idra doesnt hold 2 really strong timings and all of a sudden boxer is on a different level and idra is bad? makes no sense He also 2-0 IdrA a month ago.
He proxy raxed 2 games and idra missed the scout.
Leenock just got knocked out of up and down from the exact same shit.

Very impressive play from BoxeR, kind of disappointed by Idra's play but you win some you lose some, hopefully he steps it up here soon.

lol so do you want boxer to not get the counter units?

People still believe that idra is the best NA zerg? wow ^_^
