Cool showmatch! New to sc2, found it pretty entertaining. A little sad to see all the BW>SC2/SC2>BW talk though. Never imagined that it would spawn such hate, ah well. People these days will argue over anything, unfortunately.
Boxer definitely looked pimp in those sunglasses though.

The biggest highlight in these showmatches was the XNC game. BoxeR was being attacked by Mutas/Lings at his natural via the common knowledge hallway. He sent ~6 Blue Flame Hellions into yellOw's natural, and as every Drone burns to a crisp, BoxeR types in chat:
"Charmander!!!"
:D

Can someone experienced please create a Yellow fanclub thread so that we can link it to him and encourage him to play SC2? I really want to see him get into the game.

No, he's right. BFH of late are proving to be dominating in all three matchups, and all it takes is one successful BFH run and you've practically won the game. I'd be stunned if Blizzard's balance team weren't keeping an eye on them and considering if maybe they're too good.

Remove "light" type from worker => problem solved

They might change, but right after they change, you wake up from a comfortable sleep.

i'm mitigated on the topic, they do a lot of damages very fast but it's not the hardest unit to block.

Im a zerg player my self and i really don't think there OP. Its people liuke you that cry to blizard and end up getting shit OVER nerfed and unused (cough reapers cough). I didn't say Terran is imbalanced - I said those 2 units are too powerful. Blizzard want the game balanced for TvT as well. Protoss and Zerg might have units, right now which are also very difficult to deal with when done early or massed. - I haven't put thought into it. I'm suggesting that those 2 units (BFH and Banshee) will likely recieve a nerf - but that's not to say something else may be buffed. I think Blizzard want this game to have very even consistency in balance across a variety of openings and playstyles. They are not at that stage yet where anything is possible, because somethings are just too good. It sounds like I'm saying "Terran OP" but I'm not, weird I know but hard to explain. When Blizzard is going to come up to you and ask for your 2 cents, you will tell them what you think about balance. For now, nobody cares about your balance suggestions/unit's strength.
This is a thread about Boxer vs YellOw. The results were obvious when YellOw said he was gold league. Good job bringing balance QQs and contributing absolutely nothing to this thread.

Are you in Silver? Roaches do not hard counter hellions, the hellions gain map control for the Terran, and if the Zerg makes a mistake in positioning can win the game.
Banshees insta win the game if you don't have spore crawlers and they have cloak but say you do prepare for banshees they can still run around picking off drones and also gain map control, therefore Zerg has no aggressive capabilities.
Most things in this game are not as black and white as "If I a-move X into Y who wins?"

It's true that roaches counter helions. But what other units do roaches win against? Scvs?

Exactly. I'd expect if anything they'll increase the time on the BF upgrade, like they've been playing with build time on bunkers and Warp Gate research time. It's not like hellions magically cease to be effective into the mid or late game, after all.

surprised to see boxer doing such abusive builds and even more surprised to see yellow do so well... fun event though overall. tastosis as the english subs in that movie was epic though haha.

Which is almost certainly why nothing's been done so far. But if MLG continues to be a trend - and pro players are shown to be unable to adapt - they'll step in.
I'd expect that Blizz watch the GSL most closely for signs of things being broken, so if BFH really go banana in August, then we might see a nerf. And it's obvious slayers love 'em, so I think the balance of the BFH will be settled during August one way or another.

Was a really fun match to watch, though Yellow looked a little disheartened after the games. I hope this doesn't discourage him from continuing with trying out SC2. It would be amazing to have a repeat show match later on down the line. Either way, go Boxer!!!!
