I highly doubt you would have taken wrongful disqualification in-stride as you expect the OP to do. It's not about "growing up". It's about the fact that this situation was clearly mishandled. The admins made a mistake, and rather than admitting their mistake, offering the OP an explanation or any type of resolution at all, they THREW HIM OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT. You think the only people who would be upset by this are the immature?

He's not asking for a pity party, he's asking for someone who runs the Competo cups to notice and crackdown on the admins who aren't doing a goodjob.
Did you miss the part where Endrey promised to help him and he blew him off and soon after continued to be melodramatic? Yes, his situation sucks, yes the admins seem to be dicks, but his attitude has been quite childish particularly after Endrey agreed to look into it, something he didn't even have to do.
He can be as childish as he wants. His attitude is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. He got screwed by an admin, full stop. This tournament clearly meant a lot to him and you have no business telling him it shouldn't.
I didn't tell him that the tournament shouldn't mean a lot to him, but presenting himself in such a manner and being abrasive in regards to the person offering him help was rather childish. I'm sorry but I guess we disagree in that regard, he can certainly be as childish as he wants, and I can just as easily call him out on being childish.

Not everyone reacts to stress in the same manner. Put yourself in his shoes and think about how ticked off you would be. I wouldn't expect him to think 100% rationally on what he says.
I would definitely be quite upset and while people do react to stress in different ways, that doesn't make all reactions appropriate, mature or productive. I was merely pointing out that while his original post was productive and elicited a response from someone involved in the tournament in a non-administrative role, his follow up and rejection of any help was unproductive.

The TC's immaturity or whatever has nothing to do with the fact that the admin in question is clearly in the wrong and the TC got severely screwed.
Playing any tournament is a massive time commitment and to be ridiculously screwed out by some admin with his hand in another players pants is absolutely insulting and deserves attention.

To be honest, I can understand his frustration and vent - obviously he didn't act in the most civilized, mature way, but hell, neither did the admins.

Communication is a bitch, but making sure on all ends that everything is good to go when you claim freewins is quite imortant to avoid situations like these.
Regardless situation sucks, and it could've been handled better. It's hard to administrate these big tournys though when alot of shit is going on, but going back on decisions like that is just stupid, and acting like a douche after doesnt make it better. T_T

this thread is full of SHIT and im going to speak the truth now. i was playing a 39 mins TvT for the previous round. Mister the freshfuckface decided he had "won" because he was waiting for 30 mins, yes you're waiting because TvT is a bitch sometimes. he then invented a bunch of lies that i ignore in order to get a defwin from the admin, even before he had an opponent. when i got out of the game, and checked the bracket (30 secs after the game) thefreshone was already qualified for the next round, without any attempt to even discuss playing the game? he was even ALREADY playing vasilisk. now imagine WHO WAS ANGRY in this situation? i immediatly contacted admins to rule the case, thefreshone continued his bullshit and refused to listen to the admins, i was also talking to vasilisk because thefreshone was on "busy" and i couldnt speak to him, so the admins told me to speak to vaslisk directly. after 30 mins of debate with the admins, that thefreshone doesnt listen to, he convinced vaslisk into playing the 2nd game, which he won. none of the admins was even aware of that. then when the other admin finally read my fucking messages he told me to contact you again to play the match which i did, i first said "TALK TO THE ADMINS", then i tried to say "if u refuse to play ull get deflose" but you had me on ignore, which i told the admin, he then proceeded to disqualify you, because you know, when you dont listen to your 2 opponents and to the admins, life is a bitch sometimes. + Show Spoiler +

Well considering you're kinda sorta awfully BM, anyone would have put you on ignore in that situation.
Regardless, the admins told him he had a defwin before contacting you, and they told you you had a defwin before contacting him. It's their job to double check and make sure rules are applied. They didn't do it. Ultimately it's their mystake for handling it badly.
Awesome drama. But I guess it should be easy enough to find out who is lying. Check out toxic's match history and see if he indeed was playing his competo opponent or if he was playing a game in another cup.
