Never played these small tournaments and never will if this is how things work there  Since I got the feeling that even admins didn't know what they are doing and what they are supposed to do. idk. Well maybe some more admins would do the work, I don't know. | ||

The situation is pretty clear... No need to come in here and be the hero. Competo cup fucked this guy over, plain and simple. Your professional bias aside, why would you try to rectify this? I'm sure there were more admins in the IRC channel. None of them spoke up when it was necessary of them. Just let this guy vent and do what he wants. Competo cup deserves to be outted for this. | ||

You have to realize that most smaller tournaments try to rectify these mistakes. There are so many little tournaments going on at any one time that everyone really has to do their best with the structure / implementation of smaller tournaments. This is just a slap in the face to the players, and to the fans of the game. You can say "it was just that admin's fault," but it is the obligation of the host to hire staff, and the obligation of the staff to not allow such incompetence. That admin (and any silent / obviously afk admins in that channel) do not deserve to represent a tournament of any caliber, if this is how they treat the players that make their tournament exist. | ||

Least the tournament should do is apologize if not more (aka remove that admin for lack of discretion and lack of ability to be fair). | ||

I guess this case is subject to this rule: The Competo StarCraft II Cup rules can be changed or expanded by the organizers at any point ^_^ | ||

I don't think accusing him of wanting attention and pity is baseless at all looking at his posts in the thread, his first post was fair and good enough, then Endrey offered to look into it and contact the administration and talk it over with them but he responds saying that Endrey wouldn't do anything and shouldn't do anything... Then what's the whole point if you're going to blow off the guy trying to help you and then say, "My chest hurt when I saw the finals being cast booohooo". What are you looking for if not a pity party? | ||

I apologise if i come off as an ass, but thats just my opinion. Respect goes a long way. edit: I would like to say though, thank you for posting in this thread, especially with a chatlog to show people what had happened instead of pointing a finger without any kind of proof. (albeit, if i were you i would have calmed down quite a bit and actually thought about what i was saying and not spamming... People are more likely to take you seriously and not treat you like a kid.) | ||
