Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining
Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it. |

Actually 2 advanced, Bratok and Bomber, Hasu is 99% gonna win 2-0 over Sjow and advance over Thorzain.

Its more then this. Moon is clearly on the level to compete in an international tournament like this. He is on a level equal to, or exceeding the majority of westerners invited, and has a large western fan-base from WC3, so why shouldn't he deserve an invite?

And clearly with Moon making 2nd in group it turned out to be a good invite no?
doesn't matter how well he does some haters will just continue bashing him.
sad really.

Hopefully he can have a better showing in code. Inaccurate - he came all the way through the Open bracket and far into the Champbracket at MLG. He's proven himself at lans. He's dominated Sjow, and the others in his group, barely lost against July, and had very close games against Hasu (who's got a sick late game PvT). Its a myth that he requires lots of prep to win, but his ability to prepare builds will certainly help him in Code A. I'm sure that he isn't bad by any means. He's still better than most people, but he doesn't play like the TSL3 champion (which we all want to see) when at these events.

Why are foreign Terrans doing so badly in comparison to their regions respective races? The funny thing is, you would nearly always back a Korean Terran to win, since they have 13 of the top 16 slots in the biggest tournament, but its complete opposite here. I still think ST. Bomber is the favourite but there will be no Terran brethren close to him. Probs repeat of MLG. Terran wins but the race does terribly otherwise.

All of them going or nearly going 5-0 in their groups. Instead of thinking "koreans undefeated" think "Foreign favorites undefeated" as well.
Lots of foreign favourites got defeated though, like Thorzain and Sen who if they were in a group without a Korean could probably have gone undefeated.

on the HuK Thread:
Easy way to Code S (if you can call it somewhat easy at all) Easiest group of the dreamhack tournament by far.
Doesnt make him less good, he is still top 3 foreigner after Naniwa and together with White-ra in my eyes. Hasu, Socke, Sase, TT1, Kiwikaki would follow

They clearly show the goal difference on the official dreamhack site, so that's the metric they're using.
A far better one than head to head IMO, since it rewards consistency, not just punishing a tilting player in a single game.

Sure he looks like a white guy and carries a Canadian passport, but in Starcraft 2 context, he's as Korean as it gets - oGs house training, copying MC's Godlike builds, his skills vastly improving because of GSL... I'm pretty sure he now prefers kimchi over bacon. Lol he's still a foreigner...

oh here comes the marines and SCVs, with the greedy build of Hasu's and a bit of poor micro, he may lose.
But now he's smashed SjoW's forces... oh well.

So, play-off draw listed somewhere?
*EDIT: Apparently Sjow v Hasu still going...
