SlayerSMMA Mun Seong Won !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 44 minutes ago @myungwoon is Zero, the BW player who lost 3-0 to Flash in the MSL Finals last week. The twit translates on Google to: "You and me both." He must be quite upset. He seemed to be very composed during the post-game interviews though, but it was quite obvious he was holding back his disappointment. aww... Zero such a qtpie, still keeps in touch with his Woongjin brothers MMA was SKT though. Very nice of Zero to offer comfort.
I know MMA is SKT, I was looking at Zero's tweets to Ganzi and Supernova.

No shock for me cause I always know that Polt is the best

So obvoiusly a straight BO counter and killed MMA G2: MMA went banshees, then gives away his banshee for free with 0 kills, big mistake. Later, he parked his 3rd orbital infront of his first expansion for some reason. So Polt sniped it during their first encounter, MMA didn't even repair it: 2nd big mistake. Later MMA floats his newly built CC to his 3rd, then scouts Polt coming for an attack, but didn't bother pulling his CC back or sending troops to defend it, so Polt snipes his 3rd CC yet again: 3rd Big mistake. Eventually GG's from falling too far behind Too many mistakes from MMA this game. G3: Same as game 1. Polt went marauders while MMA went fast blue flame Helions. Except this time MMA sneaked a few helions in and killed all the SCVs while Polt's Marauder push killed all of MMA's SCVs. Then both tried to rebuild except Polt had an expansion up before the exchange, so polt pulled ahead and won. Another mostly BO win for polt G4: EXACT same as one of the MKP vs MMA game. MMA went fast ghost rush, Polt barely defends it, then just builds a bunker, and flies a Banshee in and killed bunch of MMA's SCVs. MMA didn't learn from MKP's game by getting better anti air at his base. terrible mistake. All in all, terrible series, so unless you're one of those people that enjoys the "underdog" factor, I wouldn't recommend watching. why do you say "blind marauders", yet MMA's hellions are just 'fast hellions' ? lmao, you're a blind fanboy. Cuz helion openings are standard, and marauders aren't. Polt intentionally went marauders cuz he thinks MMA is going to go Helions (due to studying his old plays). Polt didn't actually know for a fact that MMA is doing it. Therefore it is a blind build that worked. I don't know why you take offense in the word blind. It isn't implying anything negative like cheesy or all-in. And I don't know why you randomly throw in that fanboy comment. Which part of my post makes it seem like I'm a fanboy? I would of said the exact same thing had the result be switched (but the games stayed the same). Fact of the matter is, we got robbed of a potentially 7 epic TvT games with 4 terrible TvT that I wouldn't even call it TvT as they felt more like PvP. Please explain how they were terrible TvT If anything, the scv trade scenario, the insane marine splittings, hidden gold bases etc. all made it enjoyable to watch. All it lacked was the nail biting finishing type ace game
the 4-0 one sided series pretty much sums it up, especially when you look at the smaller tourney final right before that, that went into the 5th game of a bo5 when both players are extemely talented, the sC vs DRG series was really much more enjoyable to watch.

Again a final which disappointed me. Just a quick 4:0 is not what I want to see... We need more epic finals in the GSL.

Please explain how they were terrible TvT If anything, the scv trade scenario, the insane marine splittings, hidden gold bases etc. all made it enjoyable to watch. All it lacked was the nail biting finishing type ace game Because those things you listed are usually seen in good PvP, TvZ, etc. The mark of why people say TvT is a good matchup is usually because of the chess-like positional plays, map controls, seige-lines decision making, etc etc. I'm not saying intense-micro and marine splitting is bad. But if I wanted to see intense micro, I would watch PvP, and if i wanna see insane marine splits, I would watch TvZ. Therefore, these games were terrible from a TvT standard as it didn't have anything that makes a good TvT edit*: Also, close games =/= good games. Would you call both players 6pooling each other every game and ending up with 1 drone + 1 ling each battling out good games? I guess everyone's opinion is different but for me, that definitely isn't something I would be calling good
I cant argue against that but variety do exist.
We do have to keep in mind though, if polt played a standard TvT, we would have no doubt the results would be drastically different. The influence from MKP is definitely in his play and from the previous games in the semi finals, showed the flaws in MMA's play which in the future, all other terran players will be sure to take advantage of. We very well may call those games to be played in the future to MMA's weaknesses, crap, but unfortunately we're definitely going to see more of them unless MMA can overcome it.

Polt is the most underrated player in the world. He's a top 3 terran in the world in my book now.

MKP will be so sad if Polt steals his name.
GG Polt

Damn Polt wrecked MMa...very shocking results.
