He mindgame'd MMA in a lot of point, preventing his drops, had a very good unit control against tanks. MMA on the other hand, i think that he was too confident with his macro/micro management, and worked nothing new to outplay Polt. Even if he's a better player, he was not prepared enough for this match particulary.

I didnt watch the games so I dont know how well Polt played, but being 4-0d by someone who isnt even being generally considered as a candidate for "best Terran player" is kind of sad to me why are you commenting if you didn't watch the games? Go watch them. Polt played amazinggg

I'm taking it you haven't seen any of his games before the Super Tournament? 42-13 since he fell into the Season 2 Up-Down matches. The best players win consistently (that's the only criteria you can use to judge the overall skill of players), and Polt is winning games consistently. Saying #1 in the world is debatable but he is undoubtedly one of the best right now and has been for some time.

Ok dude, making very few mistakes + executing b/os extremely well as well as extremely good decision making, macro, and micro DOES make him one of the top elite terrans if not the top. Also check out his previous games. His record is amazing and he is one of the most solid players there are.

What I see here is blind fanboyism for MMA. Polt won four games out of four games because he is simply better. Heck, I didn't think Polt would win and I betted that MMA would win. But I'm not going to stick to this outdated notion that MMA>Polt.

Well, to be fair, having better practice partners will make you better. I'm not saying that's the only reason Polt won but it certainly wouldn't hurt his chances. Whatever the reasons are for him winning, I've got to admit that he's better than I gave him credit for and people will need to be careful of this guy if he continues to play the way he is. My opinion of him has definitely changed after this tournament.

![]() Polt played well but I don't think his play was exceptional. I think he got very lucky several times catching MMA out of position. MMA was off his game and got further and further off it as the games went on which just made it worse.
