Its a problem with the super tournament format. Its GomTVs fault for having a billion terrans and so skewed brackets. Winning the super tournament is in my opinion is NOT equal to winning Code S. It should not be possible to go threw a GSL tournament of only TvTs. Not to bash MMA, but if he wins the entire thing it wont feel like a real winner. In my opinion you need to win in all match ups to be crowned as champion. But then again, its not MMAs fault, it is 100% on GomTV
MMA's only bad matchup is TvP, his TvZ is godly and his TvT is eastily top 5 (might even be top 3). MMA would deserve it if he won, he is a godly player either way.

That doesn't make sense to me. How can you say that with certainty, or that someone after July wouldn't have done it?
Though having said that, I could've sworn MVP was either the first player on GSL to marine split, or he did it concurrently to MKP.

July popularized it. His teammate Shark invented Mutastacking.
MKP was responsible for popularizing it. MVP used it first, but he lost. MKP's series against Zenio was the first time that Marine micro was truly demonstrated in astonishing effectiveness.

Most people think mkp started marine splitting since the kyrix game. Actually the first game I saw bio splits were by mvp in his season 2 game vs zenio. Mkp may have popularized it but the first person I saw do it was mvp.

grats to MMA he played really well, and thats coming from a hardcore MKP fan. matches were so close, i think game 3 in partcular could easily have gone the other way. MMA anticipated MKPs maneuvering and dealt with it perfectly. I really hope the future of TvT is not this hellion siege tank stuff, its really not fun to watch and on small maps like Xel Naga i dont see anything beating it. I think it comes down to mma slightly more solid and mkp more stylistic and favors bio centric with tank support. Perfect tank control with high tank counts should win that along with the good turtling mma did ( game 5). I prefer MKP to watch, but MMA is a great player and will probably /hopefully will win the whole thing now.

Season 2. Go watch. the Shakuras Plateau game was a thing of beauty
MKP vs Kyrix was Ro8 whilst MVP vs Zenio was Ro32. Not saying MVP actually invented it but he showed it first.
