Machine..... machineeeeee. how did you throw away that position in game 3 ?

I really hope Blizzard come out with a 'shared replay' feature before the next season, and that NASL chooses to cast from replays. Less walkovers (more time for players to play = hopefully friendlier times for the Koreans), no risk of lagging/pauses/dc'ing during the recording, etc.

the one thing i can say about korean players is that they are at least much more professional, and even if they are losing they would fulfill their obligation to finish their matches.

they are also almost always on time

i can understand korean players being more professional about sc2 but how did you come to your other 2 conclusions.

Should ban all these ppl who forfeit their matches from ever entering NASL again. Very unprofessional.

Should just award points to players for how they preform. That way they can get higher seeds in the open tournaments for being capable players. So if you go 0-10 or whatever it ends up being you don't get a high seed. But, if you end up 3-7 or something maybe give them a little bit of a head start. It'll increase incentive to stay in the NASL for as long as possible.

lol I'm beginning to think how stupid nasl is. 50,000 tournament and people don't even respond all day to play their matches... how many matches did we get jipped? I must have missed about 10 matches maybe more in this first season. I'm just sick of missing nasl every night and not being disappointed for missing it. I would really like to see some more strict rules or players that actually want to play in it. ugh.. thats how I feel about nasl, just "ugh"...

Yeah I thought NASL was supposed to be North Americans only when it began and they originally asked players to move to North America if they wished to participate in the league.

they have to restructure format for season two, otherwise this league will not hold the public or player's interest. taking 3 months just to finish the pool play is absurd in our add adhd world of instant gratification and what's trending now. the meta game shifts, patches occur, players rise and fall, remember jinro 3 months ago? greatest terran in world, he plays the way terran will be played in the future. how did that pan out? in the meantime, as nasl drags along with its pool play, major tournies are going on, champions are being crowned and what someone did or does in nasl kind of becomes irrelevant.

I don't think people should judge the NASL until the finals

then we'll see what it's really all about!

MC's hanging around at 3 in the morning the week he has to take on epic jet lag Goody is no where to be found NASL even gets someone who knows Goody to call his Personal phone and again gets no response 2-0 W.O. For MC Goody

If Goody gets any portion of his $250 back it is a travesty.

It's alright, he's prolly gonna drop out. And then never be able to fight through the brackets to make it back later. Hes a pretty overrated player with crappy mechanics anyways.

With all the W.O.'s and people dropping out NASL has become sort of... less prestigious in my eyes. It's not the fault of the organizers but the prevalence of no shows is getting pretty ridiculous.

The great thing about the NASL format is that it is designed to insure the most consistent and well-rounded players.

The worst thing about the NASL format is that we're finding out how inconsistent and mediocre some of these 'top' players actually are.

It's like watching the NBA, and trying to follow a team that has no hope of winning or is tanking the season. The key difference is that even a losing team of players gets paid for showing up.

I hope next season the NASL, at the very least, they up with a system that rewards players for just qualifying and participating, and penalizes players that flake out.

Wouldn't be the NASL without at least 2 walkovers!

Well, even though I do not have the time to watch all those games, I check the results every morning. I really like the group structure where everybody plays everybody. And I am always sad when there are walkovers.

This all could easily be solved with a winning fee per match i think.

i think a problem of this format is, that players who perform bad have no incentive to show up and get slaughtered for nothing ..
