Cruncher does a 1 to 2 base attack and wins; ALL CRUNCHER DOES IS ALL IN. Cruncher plays long macro game with constant harass; WOW ALL THIS GUY DOES IS TURTLE. I gotta say Cruncher probably has more haters then anyone else, although i assume its only the Idra mega fans who follow his every word.

People hate Cruncher because his wins involve his opponents making mistakes and not responding appropriately to his play while all his losses make him look totally outclassed. He never seems to 'outclass' his opponent; says nothing bad about the guy, just seems to be the result of his style.

As an example look at that game: QXC with a strange build and poor macro, failing to scan DT's in fights, etc. If QXC's floating minerals had been army that game it could have been very different, so judging how good Cruncher is from it is pretty difficult (though he played a solid game that punished mistakes harshly).

This is the exact same style that Kiwikaki has done in the past, when you are ahead on upgrades with Templar, DT's in your army is NOT a liability as your Zealots are constantly buffering and it forces scans from Terrans every fight. When they do get scanned you morph into Archons.

What Cruncher did this game didn't rely on any ounce of luck, he completely outplayed QXC. He was on 9 Bases dwarfing QXC's economy, better upgrades, better unit compositions. It is like the Ultralisk, when you are far ahead you just use DT's to finish off the game faster

I agree with everyone above me, Archon is in no way imbalanced, they should focus on the game instead of bickering about how to "counter" the archon.
