It's more like Tyler says MC plays risky which implies he thinks it's not the best way to play. MC stomps nerds and wins multiple championships. Tyler's playstyle flounders around not winning anything. That's why people get annoyed when Tyler criticized MC. It's not really right to say someone is playing wrong when they are winning consistently. I can't get excited about this TvT...

Tyler never said "he plays too risky", he said the reason MC is winning is because his risks are working and eventually they won't work as well and he'll get punished for it. That's exactly what happened, almost word for word. MC's pushes vs july in the GSL finals worked so well because he always got such an early nexus to power his 6 gates. MC got knocked out of the GSL because Poltprime, who is way worse than MC in every way, did a counter build to MC's stupidly early nexus....twice. So yea, tyler was completely right and this isn't hypocritical.

Opening 2gate expand is almost entirely reliant on the zerg FEing. I call that risky. He used bad builds against Polt yeah, it happens. It just happened to Tyler too.

Using IE on Windows 7 with no add-blocker or anything. its a broken ad on JTV's part, report it on their forums or something. they've had bad ads that break the stream/dont play before and they normally fix it quickly refresh and hope you get a different ad next time. or use an adblocker

What is sure if that if he want to compete with the very best, he'll have to dedicate himself at 100% because the level is rising day after day.

This is hypocritical. so what's your point in the end? you original post seems to be critical of tyler. are you critical of his "risky" build? or critical of his criticism of MC simply because he played "risky" in this series? if it's the latter, my point stands. if it's the former, then perhaps you should word your criticisms better than this On May 23 2011 10:16 Yaotzin wrote:And this is Tyler, who criticises MC for playing risky...

From wikipedia Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that one does not actually have. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie. Firstly tyler is fully qualified to make that assessment of MC's play. Secondly Tyler never claimed not to have risky play himself. Manner up and learn what things mean before you start flinging accusations around.

I call that risky. no it's not. if you want to play it safe, you play forge before nexus. he didn't in game 1, that's why he lost. why he did it after seeing the roaches, i don't know. but he could have played it safely while defending against the roaches. in game 2 he saw a shitton of lings, so he knew there wouldn't be roaches immediatly, so his opening was safe.
