It is so much more complicated than that.

This reskinned version of Tal'darim altar is really messing with my head.

because you will die if you try that against a good player, he will see what you're doing and kill you.

Learn the most basic rules (such as FORMAT) before you start complaining about bo1 and shit.
WCG already has created such awesome games. Can't believe how exciting it's been so far. Even with very low production value, and with Ongamenet doing the streaming (which means relatively low quality, brood war looking stream quality), this is extremely enjoyable.
A few hours in and already I think this is yet again another great tournament done by WCG. Are you a time traveler from 2003? Yes, I'm a SC2 enthusiast from 2003. I must be the smartest, most advanced, and coolest person in the universe to not only understand how to read a thread, not only how to watch games, NOT ONLY how and why WCG is being played out the way it is, but also to magically time travel. Thank you for the compliment. But from the looks of it, you're stuck in 2003, whereas people with analytical skills are watching with me here in 2011. I was referring to you thinking this is good enough quality video for a major tournament when it's the same video quality we were getting during WCG2003. And before you say beggars can't be choosers, I'd gladly pay for a good stream rather than an ad-assisted shit stream You're spoiled by the extremely high quality of modern day sc2 streams... People with a lot of money can afford to have really good streams. Even disregarding that though, you do realize that SC:BW streams look like this even now in 2011 right? Yes, I am very very certain that this is "good enough" video quality for a major tournament. WCG has become huge, and is regarded as huge today because of the amazing games they have been able to host over the years, not because they had tons of money or cutting edge technology. WCG is awesome today, because of the amazing games they are hosting, not because they have tons of money or cutting edge technology.
Money is certainly not the reason for the horrible looking main stage stream. The side stage stream looks amazing.

Humans can fast expand quite easily with militia... It was very common many years ago when I followed wc3, don't know about now :p
However, you can't really sit and defend. You need to be able to go out on the map and farm the neutral units. If you don't build an army you'll never have any map control and you'll get out farmed.

it saids on the schedule that after this LoL/counterstrike there will be 2 SC2 games broadcasted anyone know what games are going to be broadcasted?

true, if you do that, you lose mapcontrol. means, the opponent will have 5-5 heros and expand then, the game is pretty much over from that point

Okay, so it seems pratically everyone agrees it is blademaster. Makes sense, when I used to play WC3 that unit annoyed me the most.
Best undead hero?

because at 50 food or below u mine the most efficiently, 10 per pop. at 70+, u only mine 4 per pop while 10 gets taken away from ur mine so ur mining even slower than 1base

I think you mean WCG became huge, it hasn't been an amazing tournament for a very long time and their inability to actually bring us the tournament in a reasonable broadcast only compounds this. Take off the rose-tinted glasses mate. WCG is a dying dinosaur of a tournament

BW stream still looks like this because the aspect ratio and res on the game itself means it looks good even on this stream quality. Modern games don't. Which is also why WC3 looks better than SC2 on these streams
I like the production and everything, but you have to face reality, for such a huge tournament, WCG's technology is pretty ancient.
