Isn't it possible to go for a economic build instead of 1 base? Like, fast expo into 90 food army of 3/3 taurens and catapults? I've never seen such a game and I always wondered why | ||

Yes, I am very very certain that this is "good enough" video quality for a major tournament. WCG has become huge, and is regarded as huge today because of the amazing games they have been able to host over the years, not because they had tons of money or cutting edge technology. By the time you get 3/3 Tauren's, your opponent will have more units, plus easy counters to Tauren, and you'll get roflstomped. On top of that, it's much harder to get expansions up in WC3 than it is in SC. There are times when Night Elves try to fast expansions, but it's risky. Human's do fast expand, but Human's have the largest variety of strategies at their disposal. Orc and Undead have FE strategies, but they are much harder to execute, and usually you just won't be able to hold, and you'll just lose in a few minutes. | ||
