Personally I prefer if skill is the only thing that matters, but that doesn't mean that competitive games must have no random elements at all. However you can't deny that, when the player you're rooting for loses just because the RNG turned its back on him, you get a bit angry.

They won't. Like last night the WCG streams will go down and we will have to switch to the OGN network streams for PL as no other games will be streamed during PL.

if there's 2 players : the one who won qualifies, if it's a 3-way tie (and they all beat eachother once), there there another series of games to break the tie, with hopefully one of the 3 going 0-2

If anyone was upset, they would have brought it up in 2009 when it was actually in Chengdu... this year it's in Busan Korea

Don't care, and this isn't the place to discuss it.

I thought head-to-head would be the tiebreaker... But if you look at goody's group. They were in a 3 way tie. Did they play it out? Yes they did and he won. If it's three way they play it out.
So they played 3 more games? that's nice.

It can be exciting, until good players lose multiple games that they were playing much better because their essential death knight got hit by 3 criticals in sequence.

i did bring it up back then too :3

MAMMALIA not the place to bring that up and it's been there before as talismania has mentioned. It was actually highly successful.
|
so what is the situation now?
any round-16 sketch?
|
i bring it up here because supporting wcg is condoning them for their choice to hold wcg in china in light of what i already mentioned

I hope this isn't a roflstomp...

cmon dont go there seriously... With that logic lets not host anything in the states because of the genocide against the natives and for the low of good lets not host in anything in Germany, I mean we all know what they did just 70 years ago.
