It is reasonable to do Bo1 in such a large groups. It was not a problem for BW - just please get over it and start discussing actual games.
As for XiGua i think he is considered best SC2 player in China right now. So no surprise he won his group 6-0 I see your point but I guess they could just invite less players or they could not just stream all the ganes and have players playing in the background. MLG has a whole open backet of IIRC 256 players and they don't stream every match. I'm sure WCG is capable of having stations that have players playing off stream. Anyways, so is Fenix still on IM? It's not up to them to invite more or less players, and bracket system has never been in wcg until group stage is over. As for Fenix, yes he's still in IM and will play with SuperNova in main stage today after Morrow vs Huk.

If he qualifies 2nd then he'll be matched up against MVP in the Ro16, and we all know how MVP vs Supernova always ends up. Fortunately SN's group is one of the easier ones so as long as he beats Fenix he should get 1st no problem.
Fenix could very well beat SuperNova, he's beaten TheSTC, Clide and other top terrans in televised matches, so it should be a very good game.

My point is that not every match has to be streamed.

They are not streaming every match.

How is that even an argument to be made for bo1 being enough games when playing against 6 other players in a group.
And regardless, that is quite an ignorant statement when the idea of WCG is to invite people from as many countries as they can so that they can all be represented, especially since those players are qualifying and not being "invited" as you stated.

sc2 to young/volatile for bo1? because thats what most is unknowingly implying
OR
maybe its just players fault?

As an Australian: Fuck yeah Moonglade!
He always surprises me because, though I know he's a great player, he doesn't get around to any of the big tournaments nor have a team, so news on him is sparse. But then he comes out strongly in what I considered to be the group of death! =D
|
Moonglade winning group? lolwut
|
Idra should be able to handle cheese from "inferior" players solidly enough to come out of group stage even if cheesed on every single match. I don't know how the games were, but even without knowing, 3-3 just means he played bad, that's all.

Why is it a terrible system? The actual GSL groups are Bo1 as well and here you get to play 6 instead of 2-3 matches. If you lose 3 out of 6 matches, its not like you messed up only once.
