Got a relatively late starport....by the time he could've gone raven I think he was planning a push and needed the medivacs, and didn't expect White Ra to keep up with the dts. It's very strange for a Toss to waste THAT MANY dts, but Ra could afford to because of his smart composition. The headscratcher is why he didnt hunt down the pylon O.O

Yeah it forced to use some mules, but with 1 extra OC it isn't that big of a deal... The Terran army requires heavy amounts of minerals (which lets you build it faster than Protoss). Each DT basically costs QXC a scan, so as long as WhiteRa isn't making an immensely gas-heavy army, he's ahead.

U do realize u need to make counters to succeed in this game right? No you don't - you need to play better than your opponent. You can win MMM verse Zealot/HT if you play better ![]() Not everything is about counters dude; qxc should've gone mass cloaked banshee because zealots don't hit air zomg!

Anypro vs Nestea was one prime example of a protoss doing silly builds being punished. In fact, july vs cruncher game 1 and nestea vs anypro had the protoss dying the exact same way: going stargate into colossus without scouting if a hydra/ling bust was coming. Cruncher vs July game 2 was another example of a protoss cutting corners being punished. You can't forge FE like that on that map without scouting first. Dunno why people try stuff like that - are they just used to getting away with it?

Some of the slumping (Fenix) or borderline (InControl) invites have done really well, others haven't (QXC, Artosis). Hopefully the latter can turn it around.

Yes, everything IS about counters. White Ra skipped colossus and went HT tech to counter mass bio and qxc lost because he had a bad unit composition. If you think MMM vs chargelot/HT is a good composition then there is a problem.

Dunno why people try stuff like that - are they just used to getting away with it? In a word, yes. The prevalent Zerg strategy was "sit back and crush his push with your superior macro." The prevailing Protoss strategy became "sit back and make a really strong army, then go crush your opponent."

Last time I checked charglots rape mmm and hts also rape mmm Switching to banshees is a large tech switch unlike hellions If you were paying attention you would notice QXC had an idle factory the whole game It really isn't that hard to add a tech lab then get blue flame You can't make the unit ur opponent is countering the whole game and expect to win buddy
