They really should enforce NR20 in the GSL.

They ARE VERY cost effective once you have an economy with great production (multiple macro hatches w/ queens) and lots of gas. You blow up their expensive units with your cheap banelings then re max on other stuff

Too bad as Losira is one of the funnest zergs to watch It reigned supreme not because of balance, not because of unit comps. It was 3 base vs 3 base. He didn't fungal as his banelings rolled in so they do max dmg, instead he let the stalkers / col spread. he got out macroed and out microed during battles.. that strat is actually insane if played WELL If he would have fungled instead of Neural parsite 5 colosus would have vaporized his banelings before they even got close. Plus he can just forcefield banelings away if they get to close.

God, people are so biased. That was awesome control.
Not really hard to do that imo. Protoss control is the easiest in my experience.

Just whining for no reason. Genius played well and Losira f-ed up. Yeah pretty much...I think people are expecting this strat to be an instant win, but who ever plays better in the engagements comes out on top, like they should. Genius did some amazing splits and played super well where as LosirA looked like he could have done some work.
It is not like what Genius did was easier than LosirA did either, hell, that looked pretty freaking hard to do on the fly, he deserved that win.

And yeah, zergling are better than bane here, because whith banes you have nothing to tank after the wave.

Would speed roach instead of banes worked better? Just watching after the engagements Genius was left with a few stalkers and a colossus or two, and Losira only had a few infestors. That happened a couple times at least. I think speed bane against a purely stalker colossus ball was a bad choice.

Here's an idea: Having a bunch of overlords flanking the army so Genius can't stop and fight. Don't even need any banelings in those.

Exactly. I don't think you can let the toss get so many colossi with that style if you don't have corrupters. Neural parasite just doesn't last long enough and a good toss probably can blink a small group of stalkers and just snipe the infestor.
