Yesterday's broadcast has had its issues. We all saw it. There are 10+ pages of whining. There is an entirely new cast going on now. Please keep whining about issues experienced yesterday to yourself going forward in the thread and allow other people to enjoy the games.

I like that they're being incorporated more into the late game in toss though. Agree, their DPS is actually absurd, and if you can snipe the obs, they can autowin battles. I've totally started doing that. Well, I nicked it from Painuser. You get a couple of thors and go double starport banshee and then scan, the thors autotarget the obs (and also soak up colossus splash) and you have like 6 banshees doing insane damage and there's nothing he can do. Only thing is you gotta be careful because banshees are so fragile at that point.

Cloud has the unit advantage! And edged forward slightly; After the exchange, PU is not as behind as he was; tanks are exchanging shots as they try get into position. I don't think that was worth it for Cloud but he has a production advantage.

16:00 140-ish to 120ish Cloud to Painuser. Cloud assaults Painuser's tank line and smashes through Painuser's tank line. Painuser loses his siege line, but is suddenly ahead after Cloud loses too much in that push.

I am WAY against the humor displayed in that show during the intermission. I will speak on behalf of it being removed from future broadcasts. 2. This was a mistake. It's really really bad. I know the NASL is upset about it and will fix it. There is no way to go back in time.. but please know we are sorry. 3. Maps were updated. There is no legitimate argument for using the outdated maps. That too was a mistake overlooked by not consulting the pro players of the squad (me and gretorp). It has been rectified. Some inside info: The NASL isn't a bustling studio of 30 people. It's 5 production people and 2 commentators. We are hiring out professional help for the sound (after the problems) we consult pro's on the stage etc... but we are not some huge broadcasting company. When people say "mistakes like this shouldn't happen.. you need to watch for mistakes!" They do. They do the best they can. A lot of these guys are running off of 4 or less hours a night. Encoding, editing, doing graphics etc.. all each day after this schedule. Do they want your sympathy? No. No they do not. Do they expect better results than what we have produced? MORE THAN YOU KNOW. Nobody is more pissed than Russ and co after each mistake. This is the first week. None of them came from a broadcasting / league background. All of them are chasing a dream and trying to do it to the best of their abilities. When we make mistakes please tell us with all of this in mind. If you STILL feel the need to say "FIRE X" or "THIS IS FUCKING TERRIBLE" then I guess go ahead and do that. I get to wake up in the same house as these people and watch them go at it for another 16 hours each day. It is absolutely unacceptable to make these mistakes and they will not be made continuously. As they happen they get fixed asap. In the end it makes us better. We were never planning on 1 season so we have time to fix these things. Ideally, would they never have happened? OF COURSE. Is it possible to have caught these faster? CERTAINLY. But we didn't and we are sorry. Please understand the sheer effort and work that is going into this. This league is growing and it has growing pains. It also has amateur mistakes and huge errors. All of which will be sorted out as they come up. I'm sure most everyone appreciates the honesty, accountability and full disclosure, but for paying customers, I don't think reading about how the production team has little experience in broadcasting tournaments is a good thing. I think most people are learning some hard lessons from MLG and NASL. Don't pay for a product until you know what the product is. Please stop. I really get annoyed with all this extremist language. It's not even the end of the first week yet and people are STILL getting top quality games. yes there are issues but they are being fixed as fast as they can (usually the next day). I really get annoyed when people assume 25$ is wasted because the first week wasn't perfect. iNcontroL, you strike me as a smart guy and I am sure you understand that guy says the truth. We all know mistakes happen, issues arise and such but after all that hype, promises and 25$ fee for HD production/HD VODs to openly admit that people who work behind NASL have absolutely no experience is kinda... really slap in the face to current and possible future customers. People didn't pay to witness production "crash course" for those 5 guys. Saying that... I still believe NASL will be better and better with each day and week but to not have a single professional in team is really unacceptable. uh dude. I was saying they are GOM employees or DH admins who have been doing it for 10 years. I'm sorry if that bursts some kind of bubble you had. I wasn't saying they have ZERO experience with this stuff. BELIEVE ME with how hard it is to run a damn league to this scale you can safely assume they have some experience with this stuff. OBVIOUSLY.. Russ has been producing/streaming the GCPL as well as other events for a long time. We have a professional editor and graphics designer. One of the co-owners family owns a movie production company. I am trying to give you background on the people that bring you guys this and so far I have people reading it as "WHAT? THEY HAVE NO EXPERIENCE? THERE IS ONLY 5 OF THEM?" Please just read my post for what it is. And stop LOOKING for ways to turn this more negative. We obviously don't need it. "This is the first week. None of them came from a broadcasting / league background." I was answering in manner appropriate for this statement and I am not sure if bit about GOM/DH was sarcasm or mistake (was instead of wasn't). But I am also sorry that I glued to one sentence in midst of a lot of stuff you said that should and are encouraging. As I said in previous post, I am sure NASL will improve with every next broadcast and I wouldn't be awake from Europe every night if I didn't think that. I wish you and NASL everything best in future broadcast now, saying that, lets enjoy the games! GO CLOUD GO! <3
