extended series is so anti-climatic for the final. I didn't see the 2 games they played so it's all new to me. I want to see a best of 7. Not best of WTF extended series.

Colossi take a loooong time to build, when select won the battle and pushed kiwi's 3rd he should have just backed up. Protoss can warp in 10 units at the same time indeed but those units suck vs a big group of terran units. Instead Select runs in, suicides his army + all his VIKINGS. He could have just gone back and come 2 mins later with a HUGE army and be up vs 3 colossi at most. I completely agree on the Viking part. He should have kept those viking alive and make a couple ravens. Instead he suicided the vikings and then build more vikings...

I think it's a much better concept than automatically awarding someone a bo5 series lead since they're from the winners bracket instead of the losers bracket. They are TWO different series; under DIFFERENT circumstances.. The PENALTY for losing against an opponent is going into the LOSERS bracket where you have struggle your way through; but then you come up against the guy again and instead of "well done you battled through so much shit in the losers bracket - good on you" it's "well done - now beat him 4 times before he beats you twice!" It pretty much serves as a double penalty..

That's the reward. Why stop the award at games? Why not start him off with extra minerals and extra units? That's right because it's series is meant to be it's OWN thing and not some part of a bigger picture. MLG's format is already garbage, extended series just adds to it a bit more.

Add in 10 or maybe more gateway (didn't count how many of them were) + the probes. I think it's pretty safe to say he has enough building to max supply even at 100/200 food (if there isn't already 100 food because of many probes + units sitting around all over the map).

The entire point of winner and losers bracket is that every players has "2 lifes" in the tournament. Why shouldn't the guy who went completely undefeated get an advantage? He has the option of losing a series like every other player in the tournament, the only difference is that he does it in the final.

He needs to be awarded this sort of advantage, he deserves it, as everyone who comes out of the winner bracket in any tournament. maybe he should be allowed to pick all the maps for the series XD

A player who is 24-0 should have an advantage over someone who has come from losers, sorry.
